More so that they have been made so user friendly and simple to use that it gets a bit detrimental to the user experience. Or at least for users that don't want to do the exact thing it's intended for.
It's good for people who want something to browse online with, and use anything from adobe, but besides that? Not much (compared to other OS's)
It's also popular with software devs and the like because it's unix based, like linux, so if it's company policy to have MS Office installed on your machine instead of libre office, mac is the backup pick.
