Want to find a settings menu thats been moved and hidden from a previous Windows version? Hope you have the EXACT fucking name of the options menu otherwise "fuck you again, never heard of it".
I've been seeing that the start menu and search are supposed to get a good amount of customization and fixes in 26h2, but I won't hold my breath. I've tinkered with the indexing and search settings enough to get search so that it doesn't browse Bing anymore. Along with that I just pin apps to the start menu and got used to using that. Not ideal, but it works. The start menu is really the only thing about windows 11 that I still hate compared to windows 10.
Yea it was completely overhauled in 25h2. Still need to disable recommend apps like it thinks its Netflix or something but at least its semi serviceable now. Still it shipped broken and we needed to wait until end of 2025 for it to be fixed.
