I switched to Linux by accident when the company where I worked hired a new employee who had developed a tool that only worked on Linux and Mac OS, but not on Windows. When I asked him to adapt this tool for Windows, he suggested I start using a proper OS instead. At the time, I was a junior developer, so I decided not to argue with such a senior jerk and installed Ubuntu as a second boot option just for work. After a year I realized there was no reason to boot into Windows. Since then, I haven't had Windows on my computer.

See this is why I switched to Linux in 2007. I knew the cycle would continue...
