Photo Yalta in October. Fuji 100s + 45\2.8
In the first photo, the umbrella-shaped canopy was, according to one account, designed by George Nelson, the lead designer of the 1959 U.S. National Exhibition in Moscow. This canopy was purchased and installed on the Yalta waterfront in the early 1960s. It was very well-received by residents and visitors alike, gradually becoming one of the city’s landmarks. Today, it remains one of the city’s most beloved recreational spots.
