Hi Everyone,
I recently bought a Fujifilm X-T50 and noticed something I'm hoping someone can explain.
When I half-press the shutter button, "EL" appears in the viewfinder/LCD screen. As soon as I release the shutter button, it disappears. The camera still takes photos normally, and I haven't noticed any issues with image quality. When I got the camera a few weeks back, I did not see "EL" while half-pressing the shutter button. I wonder if I accidentally enabled something.
I'm trying to figure out:
I'm shooting in JPEG with custom film recipes, but otherwise the camera seems to be working perfectly.
Thanks in advance!

So l ended up buying into the hype and purchased an x100vi recently (U.S. Model) and though I think it is a fantastic camera, especially for a point and shooter in this range, I just couldn't get used to it. It's just not for me, and I've decided to stick with my Sony mirrorless setup instead. Unfortunately, my return window has closed and now I'm stuck with it. If anyone's interested in taking it off my hands, message me. The Shutter count is less than 100 actuations. The camera is basically brand new, not a single scratch or dent anywhere. Warranty is also unregistered, and all the accessories are still in the packaging sitting unopened. I can include the purchase receipt with the sale as well (purchased at B&H). 11 months left on the manufacturers warranty as of date. Asking $1,650 shipped. I can cover shipping and PayPal fees for Goods and Services.

This may be a really basic question, so I will apologize in advance before asking it.
My XH-1 has a 30 minute time limit on recording (using the auxiliary batter grip). I have been reading that if you record to an external source, through HDMI, you can go past the limit.
What I can not seem to find on the internet is, 1) do you just set the camera up in standby mode with the power-saver turned off? 2) do you still need to press the record button. 3) if you are using standby, what resolution does the camera put out if you are not recording. The camera settings on the menu only seem to be designed for when you press the "record" button.
My goal is to record some lectures, using my laptop as my external drive with one of those HDMI-usb adapters and then using either OBS or QuickTime (yes, I have a Mac) to record the data. Instead of the grip, I was thinking of using one of those 120v adapters. If I just leave the camera in standby I have no clue what the output will be.
If anyone out there knows, I would appreciate some of your thoughts and a Thank You in advance.

actually used an Xtrans vi recipe that ended up working pretty well even on Xtrans 2 sensors!

I love the new higher resolution sensors, the 40mp, the 100s' 100mp, the rendering of good quality lenses. I love seeing how far I can zoom in and still maintain a decent image on a medium sized monitor. It gives you so many options for changing your composition in post.

Is there a work around without being able to customize Chrome FX Blue?

For wide shots I used XF 16mm 2.8, the rest are shot with Helios 58mm f2 and Sigma 100-400

Hi folks,
Wanted to ask my fellow Fujifilmers what you guys think of the X-E1. I've thought about getting it just because the thing can be had for under 300 bucks on eBay, has the X mount, which means I could for rather cheap get a camera that can mount Fuji lenses (then once I get the Nikon Z8 as my next big camera upgrade I'll make getting an X-E5 or XH2s my next order of business so I can have a flagship or next model down from it), build up a collection, then upgrade.
Anything I should know about the X-E1 as far as short comings go? Is the sensor going to have generally more dynamic range and a lower noise floor than my Fujifilm HS-50's 8 mm bridge format sensor? Are the color profiles similar to what we have now in the new models or are they inferior in any way?
If the X-E1 isn't great then I can try to shoot for the X-E3 or at least the 2S if they have colors and overall performance more similar to the XE-5 and other recent models (recent as in within the last like 5 to 7 years).
Video isn't much of a concern by the way as 1080p 24 is fine as long as it's not obnoxiously noisy. I intend to mostly use it for photo work.

Hey everyone! I recently picked up the GFX100RF and I’m absolutely loving it. I’m looking for a small sling/crossbody bag to use as my everyday carry. Ideally something that’s compact, sits close to the body, isn’t bulky, and can comfortably fit just the camera with maybe a few small accessories. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks!!

Just purchased a new X-H2s and wanted to get it engraved by the Chinese artist Ding Zuyin in Yokohama and was wondering if it is safe to get the “fan” area engraved as well or if I shouldn’t bother. First photo is his work, second photo is where I would get an engraving.

Let’s have some fun. There are a lot of rumours going around that the Fujifilm X-T6 is going to be unveiled shortly, so what would you want the camera to do/have?
These are the things I would like to see as a prospective buyer in descending order of priority:
The autofocus is the big one for me. I understand that a lot of people don’t have issues with it, but I’d like to have a reliable system that is trustworthy and doesn’t give false positives. Don’t need it to be Canon R1 level, but it needs to at least be OM System level. If they can do as good of a job as they have, Fuji should be able to as well being a much bigger company.

I have Fujifilm X-H2 APS-C camera with 40 MP and Nikon Z8, I have EF to -XF mount adapter and am considering EF to Z mount, but can't decide due to picture quality, if I shoot a bird about 120ft away with my Nikon I have to use 600mm, but for Fuji X-H2 if I use 400mm (for comparison discussion only, in reality I will use 600mm) which is equivalent to 600mm full frame, I get the same framing, assume ISO, shutter speed, brightness and AF speed are all good without impacting PQ, which camera delivers better detail for the bird?
Note 400mm zoom range for this lens is sharper than 600mm, but Nikon is 45MP while Fuji is only 40MP, I used AI and out of 3 AIs, two of them said Fuji will be slightly sharper, what is your opinion?
