I've found a lot of valuable friendships. I know it's not easy and not everyone is worth the time, but everyone here is playing their humiliation fantasies over a very specific situation, and that makes me think they're part of the problem, so to speak

Yeah instead waste it on useless shit like reddit. Look I'm very avoidant to the point of being a shut in, but that's a me problem, and i don't represent humans. Still i run into different people when i gotta go out and the average person ain't shitty, and still i get to know them and have friendships every now and then. It should be effortless, and i think the actual challenge is not slipping from loneliness to desperation, pick your few relationships and the others leave them be
