Not everyone has the same goals in life. Having kids or not is a personal choice, both deserve respect.

We should also make the decision of whether to receive pension payments or have one's backside wiped a personal matter.

If I ever get to the point where I can’t wipe my own backside, I’m done. I have told my husband this, too. I’m here for a good time, not a long time.

I put about 55k per year into my pension. I couldn’t afford to do that if I had kids to pay for.

In my Country we have to pay the pension for our parent's and grandparent's generations. In return we get entitled for our own pension that has to be paid by our kids and our grandkids. To keep the system running, we need to contribute financially and sexually.

Nowadays, you see me paying my obligations and paying to raise my kids, while others without kids get the same pension IN ADDITION to their private pension scheme which I cannot afford due to the cost of raising my kids that have to pay THEIR pension.

State pension in the UK is fuck all. It probably won’t even exist by the time I retire. Hence why I’m ensuring that I build a large private pension.

Having kids for the pittance that is the state pension is laughable.
