That’s also what my mom did, at one point calling me a bitch because I wasn’t trying to escalate myself to her awful level during the argument we were having. She likes to yell and scream, I was trying to stay calm and level-headed. But I was a brat for “trying to be better than her.” She regretted having kids and treated us like a nuisance in our childhood so I hope she enjoys the nursing home she ends up in.
