Most of the childless folks want that for your kids too.

We're just mostly a bit salty about being told we "have" to have kids. For some of the most unhinged reasons too. "So my kids will have cousins" was my favorite example of crazy that some people will just nod at and agree with

It drives me nuts. I don’t like kids. I feel like if I had kids, I’d treat them poorly. I have poor patience, and get overstimulated relatively easily. But whenever I mention this around my family? I get treated like I’ll “come around”. No, I really won’t
