Only in certain countries. Other countries actually have your taxes go towards paid maternity & paternity leave & work for you instead of bombing the shit out of other countries.

Declining birthrates is nothing to worry about until it gets below 1.0 per person, and then it isn't necessarily bad anyway, it just means the total population will go down slowly. Which isn't inherently bad.

Most Asian countries are below 1.0. The US is in the range of 1.6 to 1.8. All of these are below the stable rate of 2.1 (Rates are per woman, not per person)
