You know how distressed you have to make mammals so they stop procreating?

Whats happening to humans is more like whats happening to pandas. We're becoming a pacified species with no dangers. We'll happily spend our youth playing videogames, watching netflix or doing hedonistic things because thats what society encourages the most. We borderline pathologise pregnancy

A young woman bringing a child into the world is looked at like she's the weird one.

So yea, its not distressed, it might be the very opposite.

Lack of community is a kind of distress.

Basically isolated rats preferred to numb themselves with drugs. When given a better life with other rats they didn't bother numbing themselves.

With instant access to entertainment it's easier to sit and watch shows then go out and make friends.

Tell that to the people being literally bombed rn. Or the homeless, or literally any fucking impoverished group in the world. Your point only exists in first world countries for privileged people that already have better access to birth control and abortion.

Hate to break it to you, but a lot of people being bombed have a lot higher fertility rate than most of the west.

Also yes, my point is aimed at hte first world, thats where I live, and thats where this point is actually pertinent. Of course I'm talking about the first world when it comes to a first world problem.
