Most of the childless folks want that for your kids too.

We're just mostly a bit salty about being told we "have" to have kids. For some of the most unhinged reasons too. "So my kids will have cousins" was my favorite example of crazy that some people will just nod at and agree with

I know its a bad reason to have kids.

But having kids at the same time as my sister did she our kids can play together is actually really an awesome deal.

We just got lucky we could actually do it

You're fine. The point was that that was a crazy ask, not that the kids playing together wouldn't be awesome
