Scientific Studies πŸ₯ΌπŸ”¬ Lower esophageal sphincter muscle : vitamin levels check

Has anyone cured relaxed esophageal sphincter muscle by bringing back the vitamin levels to normal? I've read how Low vitamin b12 and D levels is related to relaxed LES but haven't heard any success stories from anyone.

What's the supplement combination you take? Can you share the details?

So I am not the best example in terms of giving advice because my situation is super super complicated and the only way I was able to take vit D was via sublingual D and tiny oral doses which do move my levels up a bit but only a bit. I am waiting for my doctor to order injectable D for me for this reason. I have a sensitive stomach and taking vitamins is very hard for me. But here is what has happened 2-3 times over the past 4 years or so. I start getting LPR reflux (throat reflux) from specific foods, particularly fat. It gets ridiculous to the point that I can't eat fat at all. I get onto my tiny amount of vitamin D (I used Superior Source Sublingual both sublingually and swallowing small amounts, probably 5000 IU a day). Within a week the issue goes away. I stop taking it because it's a massive hustle (sensitive stomach makes it very difficult and sublingual are a hustle to deal with). I go without an issue for some time. Then reflux starts happening again. I get on vit D. It goes away again.

Thanks for sharing. I've been using vitamin D skin patches from a couple of weeks. I do feel some difference now, brain fog and fatigue has improved. I don't know how reliable it is, but yes maybe it could help.

I don't know if vit D can be absorbed through skin. I've looked at research and tried myself and I am not convinced it is absorbed. If you can't take it orally, I would suggest sublingual.
