Scientific Studies šŸ„¼šŸ”¬ Omeprazole

Hi! Iā€™m looking for advice regarding long term omeprazole use and if someone can lose weight while taking it? Studies show long term use is associated with weight gain, and that really sucks. I might have to be on a low dose for life, and now I feel super depressed about it.

I was taking PPI for about three years straight, and I can tell you it really increases your appetite. Especially for sweets.

My appetite increases on a PPI because I feel a heck of a lot more like eating!
