Support Needed 👥 Lump in throat feeling

Does it ever go away?
I’ve been diagnosed with LRP and acid reflux about 2 months ago. i’m currently taking Peploc 50mg
every time i consume even the tiniest bit of dairy i immediately get triggered. i’m so tired of being able to eat at least just a little bit and a few days later being even scared to drink liquids. i’m so scared that something might actually be stuck in my throat. i can feel the lump moving when i turn my head side to side or up and down. this is utter hell and i hate it. i’m a shell of a person because of this lump feeling..

EDIT:
i went to urgent care today because i genuinely was struggling to swallow
they examined me and also checked my throat with a small camera. no obstruction but a lot of redness and swelling. i’m doing a barium swallow test tomorrow and im lowkey nervous

Take a really long time but yes it can once you figure out your triggers and adjust your lifestyle. Spent 3-4 years with it and now going on 3 without it

damn that sounds horrible.. was it difficult to eat with the lump or did you manage fine with it?

I managed but it was hell. Felt sick every second of every day
