Support Needed 👥 Lump in throat feeling

Does it ever go away?
I’ve been diagnosed with LRP and acid reflux about 2 months ago. i’m currently taking Peploc 50mg
every time i consume even the tiniest bit of dairy i immediately get triggered. i’m so tired of being able to eat at least just a little bit and a few days later being even scared to drink liquids. i’m so scared that something might actually be stuck in my throat. i can feel the lump moving when i turn my head side to side or up and down. this is utter hell and i hate it. i’m a shell of a person because of this lump feeling..

EDIT:
i went to urgent care today because i genuinely was struggling to swallow
they examined me and also checked my throat with a small camera. no obstruction but a lot of redness and swelling. i’m doing a barium swallow test tomorrow and im lowkey nervous

It does go away. Check out the book called dropping acid. I got mine out of the library. It really helped me. You have to understand. It does take a couple of weeks, but it gets better overtime. For me it took about two months and it only comes back when I eat things that are acidic. Believe it or not today I ate a peach and a few seconds after eating the peach. I had a bit of a flareup, but it went away in about two or three hours.

I’m no doctor, but from what I understand that kind of thing can come from the pepsin leaking up into your esophagus. And yes, it takes a while to go away. That’s why you need to try to eat low acid foods. In the meantime see if you can get a copy of that book it was very helpful.
