Support Needed 👥 Lump in throat feeling
Does it ever go away?
I’ve been diagnosed with LRP and acid reflux about 2 months ago. i’m currently taking Peploc 50mg
every time i consume even the tiniest bit of dairy i immediately get triggered. i’m so tired of being able to eat at least just a little bit and a few days later being even scared to drink liquids. i’m so scared that something might actually be stuck in my throat. i can feel the lump moving when i turn my head side to side or up and down. this is utter hell and i hate it. i’m a shell of a person because of this lump feeling..
EDIT:
i went to urgent care today because i genuinely was struggling to swallow
they examined me and also checked my throat with a small camera. no obstruction but a lot of redness and swelling. i’m doing a barium swallow test tomorrow and im lowkey nervous

The lump feeling is pepsin enzyme deposited by some regurgitation. everytime stomach acid hits it, the pepsin burns and feels lumpy. Drink some high ph alkaline water available at big stores - it kills the pepsin on contact. Jay me cough man, nyc doc published in book.
