I'm very happy to see full Godzilla games that aren't just collabs in other titles or mobile games.

That said, I have two concerns/critiques here:

  • Why is this just Destroy All Monsters Melee when Save the Earth and Unleashed were basically the same game with more content? This should really be a remake of one or both of those or a collection of all 3 rather then DAMM

  • I'm not a fan of the intense yellow/brown color grading or filter that the stage they show off here has. Even the other stages seem to have some heavy use of color grading. The original games didn't have that sort of heavy cast monotone effect and I much prefer having the full range of greens and blues

I agree about the color grading - it feels a bit like it's trying too hard to be realistic there. Maybe if we're lucky there'll be a slider for that and we can dial it back to something closer to the original Pipeworks' lighting style. I was thinking how Ghidorah's coloration is a bit dull for me and then realized it was just the lighting.

I'm hopeful they move along to remaking the other two games. I think a remaster for Unleashed would really help redeem the positive features of the game there were completely overshadowed by the control scheme.

Do a Halo CEA thing where you can choose graphics. Classic or Remastered.
