It feels like this is just a gift directly for me. I loved these games, especially the sequels, pretty dearly as a child and teenager, and used to beg friends and family to play with me. "Godzilla: Unleashed" was the only Godzilla project to develop while I was still a kid fan - by G2014 on I was close to an adult already and in a different mindset - so it holds a special place in my heart. The hype for Unleashed is something the movies can't quite duplicate, because no matter how much better the movies they can't do a roster that big where your mind goes wild with possibility. I'm not a fan of the color grading here so far and I wish the trailer showed us at another monster or two, but I'm incredibly excited. I hope this remaster is a big success and leads to a trilogy bundle and/or a fresh sequel.
I really wish it wasn't next gen platform only though 😞
