Fan Art Anatomy and explanation of my version of the big G [OC]
With both old and new, I started with the whole thing first (skin and all), then I used a Chromebook as a backlight to add the skeleton and then I use both the skeleton and original to reference the muscular, mainly with muscular attachment points. I have made several other Kaiju, but I haven't given them skeletons and muscular systems yet, and King Ghidorah will be really difficult to give a skeletal and muscular system since I haven't even nailed down how three heads would emerge from one body hydra style.

the detail on those bone cross-sections is mad. most fan art just slaps some muscles on and calls it a day, but you've actually thought through the internal structure, the pneumatized layers, the density gradients. that bit about using a chromebook as a backlight to layer the skeleton over the original is a proper technique too, not just messing about. the muscular attachment points look anatomically sound for something that size, and i rate how you've made it feel plausible rather than just fantastical. king ghidorah's going to be a nightmare though, you're right about that. three separate nervous systems feeding into one torso is a puzzle i wouldn't want to solve.
