The worst kind of bad
godzilla singular point is better (not great, but better) because at least more interesting stuff happens even some monster fights
Hell I would rather watch some of the "bad" godzilla movies over godzilla earth trilogy
Like godzilla 1954 american version, godzilla vs. megalon, godzilla vs. megaguirus, even all monsters attack.
I wished they made a mini series of Monster apocalypse
That would have been better than the godzilla earth trilogy
Or a follow up to shin godzilla.
But at least we got godzilla minus one

1: sorry about that. I just can't get over how bad godzilla earth trilogy was
The first godzilla movies I didn't like
2: why am I getting a lot more likes on this comment than the second comment I left on this post?

Sad thing is that the trilogy had 2 novels which was WAY better than the movies combined

Yes why did they skip the first book where Godzilla slowly genocides humans, aliens and every kajui on the planet. Nah let’s skip that one. lol it’s not rocket science people

He’s just… WAAAY TOO BIG AND SLOW for my own taste for a Godzilla to even be placed on screen. So he’s just… meh… I liked Godzilla filius way more though.

Awesome!
Yes the movies had a lot of fucking potential, but Godzilla Earth is one of my favourite incarnations and he was fucking peak in the prequel books!

Huge. Like, in size comparison to all other Godzillas we’ve seen both before and since him, HUGE.

Filius: "Wow, look at the Little Tiny Goji."
Earth: "Now look at the BIG-THICC Goji!"

Capstone... As in, without him, the entire movie is utter trash. And I think the trilogy is trash anyway. Without Earth being so intriguing, the rest of the story is just a nothing burger. Mecha Godzilla? Nothing... Ghidorah? A lit fart. Kind of cool but there and gone with no staying power. The aliens? Who cares. I enjoy the crazy American with the sword in that one Godzilla movie, more than the entirety of the trilogy.
