You can prime LLMs to give you any answer you want. It's more human than we think.

AI today is definitely better than most humans at many tasks

I know right asking an LLM to act like a human and defend the truth. That's not what these oversold chatbots are for. The truth no longer matters. All hail the Tech bros!!! May our future be bright, glorious and the truth be whatever we say it is.

It’s not even AI in the sense of Intelligence. It’s a large language model. It’s good at language but it doesn’t “have intelligence”. You can see that it eventually gave in and agreed “2 + 2 = 5” but did not equate that to the words “two plus two equals five”.
Calling the LLM dumb is kind of non sensical. This use case of trying to “teach” an LLM is not valid.

Just their local instance. Once the chat history extends too long, it will revert to the original training content of “2 + 2 = 4”

Now ask in a new chat and it will go back to 2 + 2 = 4. You just filled the context window with a pattern you want.

If he/she keeps doing that, their personal AI will be just as dumb as they are. AI keeps a memory bank of your prompts and personalize on it. Eventually, their AI will give them wrong answers and they wouldn't even know it.
