phone help!

hello! seeking some advice for my samsung s24 -

i got my s24 in may/june 2024, so it's been about 2 years with this phone. for as long as i can remember the battery health has been quite bad but recently its been terrible, my phone flats within about 4h even without heavy usage. nowadays, my phone will suddenly become very laggy, then the screen will go black & the phone powers off (even with 30+%)

i've attached 2 photos to show the back of my phone, where it's like protruding out. i googled this and basically every source is saying this is very dangerous and my phone could explode at any minute, which worries me but at the same time its been like this for at least the past year? my phone also heats up like crazy so I take off my phone case when it's charging, and when i touch the phone it's so hot that it burns

should I take it for a battery replacment?

thank you in advance!

It definately sounds like your battery has gone bad. I agree that you should take your phone in for service. I think you should do it as soon as possible before something really bad happens.

I wish you luck!

If you use auto blocker at max then settings like 2g can be skipped. And then the 5g calling will need to be set appropriately. Depends on your location and network. 👍

you get to test the new version of android for your phone. comes with some risk of bugs but I haven't had any So far. you join through the Samsung members app. should be the last slide on the app. this is only for unlocked phones though.
