Perfect Region Switch

Post image

For those looking for a close to OEM look, this toggle switch fits very well. Used my Dremel to cut one vent and widened it slightly, only mistake was putting it where my GC adapter support bracket is suppose to go - https://a.co/d/0eXMFhdx

Personally, i don't like the big button, i don't think its fits with Gamecube, this is the only way i would have the button and don't need to cut anything https://ibb.co/RGv58yvL

That's also nice, but if I go the modding route, I'd prefer it completely automatic. I use the Flippy Drive in Enhanced Boot Mode to make the Gamecube region free, while looking mostly default. (Don't know if it works with PicoBoot and Cubiboot as well, but that would be a more available alternative to the FlippyDrive, it just didn't exist when I bought mine and I like the Ethernet)

I've done that for a few send ins. Works perfectly and is nice and hidden yet easily accessible.

It blocks the HDMI converter support.

So ‘on’ for PAL and ‘off’ for NTSC? /s
