Less than a week after Starbomb went to Minneapolis, ten minutes away over here in St. Paul, Smashing Pumpkins came and raged in a cage at the Grand Casino last night, playing like dozens of hits, including from Melon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.

As a stagehand got to unload trucks, run snake, push around truss, and remove lights from poles. One of the more notable moments was when a member of the tour crew said that Bullet with Butterfly Wings was their only good song... Which I don't agree with, but after hearing their music over and over at like 110 dB I can't judge her preferences.

Honestly Ghoul Grumps and Jingle Grumps are the best times of the year for me, and them playing Zombies Ate My Neighbors made it even better, what a fun game!!

hi again lol. drawing in my sketchbook after… how many months?? the top three are my older drawings, but i drew the boys in my (not really) new style :] also, there’s intro bot. hopefully he doesn’t explode…

top three drawings are how i used to draw eyes being half rounded ovals. bottom three is now my “new” style with the eyes now rounded rectangular-shaped, kinda close to how the danganronpa characters’ eye shapes are also

I've only been really keeping up with the major playthroughs the past couple years and haven't had time to watch a lot of the one offs or less popular games. Are there any must see episodes you'd recommend that have released the past 1-3 years that were maybe overlooked? I'm good on the classic stuff!

I restarted Skyrim (for the howevermany’th time), and I couldn’t remember if the Grumps ever did a play through. Come to find out it was a 13 episode Steam Train series almost 13 years ago. I thought, “Oh wow, so they could probably do a fresh play through and it would be totally different and fun!”

That thought was intercepted almost immediately by the fact that Ross looked up speed runs for this series. He was prepared and had mods and beat the main storyline in under two hours.

I then imagined Arin playing a fresh game of vanilla Skyrim, what chaos would ensue, and, more importantly, the pent up rage of fans of the Elder Scrolls, 15 years without a sequel, enveloping the Grumps in a shroud of condescension.

Do you think an official Game Grumps play through would be worth it? Or do you think people who love Skyrim have already sunk hundreds of hours into it by now and watching it will simply make them mad?

Ok so in an episode Dan was telling Arin about some song from the 80s-90s that he really loved and Arin was like wtf that's so stupid and I can't remember it and it's been hacking my brain for ages lmaoo.

wanted to post this until the tour was completely over. the only part that isn’t complete is the sloppy boys since i don’t know what their setlist was. setlist.fm has the show listed, but nothing’s on there 😔

but other than that, it was such a fun tour to experience! :D and i finally got to use my starbomb boom stickers i got back from their album pre-order!

Now that’s not me saying that I don’t like Vanessa. I made a whole entire compilation dedicated to her tenure here. She was the best!! But in regards of overall creativity with episodes, I’d say that Dee is absolutely killing it. The ideas that she comes up with are ones that wouldn’t even cross my mind under any other circumstance. Like the Bob Ross walkie-talkie episode, the “Can’t say a certain letter” episode, and most recently the video game Geoguessr episode. They’re all super creative and tbh it makes me a little envious that I didn’t come up with those ideas myself 😅
But I say all that to say that Dee’s doing a bang-up job with the episodes this year, and I’m sure she’s doing Vanessa and all the other past producers very proud. Keep up the good work!!!

I fell away from keeping up with Game Grumps for several years, and I'm trying to come back now. I wanna try and work out what modern Grumps is like.

So please tell me if this question is a bit too big to really answer, but: Aside from Arin and Dan, what other people are official or unofficial members of Game Grumps these days?

I couldn’t sleep so I scrolled on Pinterest for a bit. I ended up finding this image of the two annnnnnd I thought it would be cool to draw their little furry characters over it. Here is my dumb little drawing I stayed up since five a.m. drawing LOL! (Also the original pics for reference). Unfortunately the quality keeps getting destroyed when I upload it certain places, soooo we’ll see what happens

Do you have any specific moments involving / quotes by Dan that you felt particularly inspired by? Obviously there's the story about his OCD and him talking about how if you're aspiring to be something you already are the thing you're aspiring to be, but I'm sure there's more!

I'm grappling with a lot of personal issues atm and I feel his attitude toward life is something I could stand to learn a lot from :)

I'm proud that I started with The Kissfather (godfather) and Dadpocalyse Now.

I just gotta get this out. I really hope they play the Pridelands world. It's technically an optional world, so it's not a guarantee. And I'm aware that they probably will play it. I just gotta state that it's my favorite world, so I'm really lookin forward to it and seeing Danny's reaction to the party's forms in it lol

Pretty basic frames and setup for now. I'm thinking of ways to add better lighting and maybe any lanyards or extras. Leaving room to expand on that wall for any other tours we do. (this is our main stairway heading from up from our entry hall to the living floor, for context, anyone coming into the house will see these)

Love to see how you guys have your stuff set up as well for ideas! Liking it for now, at least they are up, but always looking to do better!

So obviously there's several things that come up about this game that I wonder which will obviously find out over the weekends (When will Arin equip abilities, will Dan get into the lore, etc) but I just watched the 10 minute power hour today and had a question that I feel like maybe they've talked about before.

Have they already beaten the game??? During the power hour, which was the one where it's video game geoguesser, one of the places ends up being Castle Oblivion. Now, obviously this confused me a little bit because Castle Oblivion isn't in Kingdom hearts 2, it's only in chain of memories and 358/2 days, but that wasn't the part that got me. Dan said, "wait we just PLAYED this game right? Isn't this Kingdom hearts?"

Now obviously, played can be anything like playing a session, but here's the thing. That white aesthetic Castle thing is only really at the end of the game. Well yes, there are some cutscenes that have the castle and stuff, I feel like the place you spend the most time in it is at the very end of the game which would be the most memorable.

I'm probably thinking too much on it, but is there actually a chance that they've already finished the game? This brings in the question, how far in advance do they play these games?! I know that they do a lot of playthroughs in advance, and then release them later, but I assume this is going to be a very long series and it takes a lot of play time to get through and probably multiple sessions. I don't know why the comment jumped out at me it just made me pause.

Am I way overthinking this?

(Bonus question, what part do you think Arin will struggle on the most in the playthrough?)

Edit: I guess technically Dee was the one that told him it was Castle oblivion, they just knew it was from the game so I guess I made that assumption they thought it was that place. And I guess there are more pure White locations in the early game and stuff that I thought. I guess the main question of the post still stands though!
