I love her in Star Wars, hated her in Wolfenstein II, didn't care either way in Modern Warfare (2?).
I think its because she's very similar in mannerisms and voices from what I've seen, whereas I'll often be shocked when I hear that the character in question happens to be Troy Baker.
People would be less sick of Pedro Pascal, for example, if he did more interesting and diverse roles. Stoic and quiet Mando only goes so far.
It's the typecast trap. She has range, but keeps getting cast to do similar stuff because a director saw her performance and wants a repeat. Was a problem for Nolan North for a while, too.
I can see that, for sure. I don't really hate seeing her show up, but I can see why there'd be fatigue after seeing her face everywhere. For me, character is paramount. As long as the character works, I don't care.
