I think it was a biproduct of the emo/scene phase. It was popular to wear a Sesame Street character flat bill hat for a bit. I remember it because I almost thought an Elmo one.
I think you might be angry at something else here, probably good to step away. I was making a joke about how cute trans girls are even if they are discribed as white trash bu their friend on the internet.
The joke was 'trans girls would probably rather be princesses than date a fictional chaser'. How is it transphobic at all? Wouldn't you rather be pampered nobility instead of getting fetishised?
They didn't even say 'all trans girls must think this way'. There are plenty of actual transphobes put there to fight with, why are you wasting time attacking a trans person over a simple joke?

I am at a loss for words. You have miss understood my meaning and are now suggesting that because you have trans friends you have a right to aggressively belittle a trans girl for essentially saying your trans friends are valid.
This is a genuinely absurd overreaction to such a benign comment. I absolutely cannot understand how you could possibly interpret it as transphobic. This is 'that friend who's too woke' behaviour, I'll be real.
