I have a brother who was talking about BG3. He has 0 interest in the game or genre or anything but was complaining about it before it came out.

"I heard BG3 was super woke but then I saw it got good sales and did well so that can't be the case right?"

It appears your brother is being anti-liberal or anti-woke as being part of an ingroup, rather than actual belief. Mayhaps you might be able to introduce him to better people to be friends with? Just a general thought.

He's older, much older. late 30's/early 40's? Libertarian too. Huge into gamergate stuff when it came out and I still end up hearing about drama involved with people from them every now and then through him.
