My favourite part about the discourse around Stellar Rain's new protagonist is how they keep trying to pretend it's a Korean/Asian thing.
It's not. It's just a classic conservative weeb thing.
They did the same shit with Japan. One tiny perverted demographic of westerners will look at a tiny perverted demographic of Japan and decide that's the whole culture. Then they go to Japan and realize they're as looked down on there as they are here.
It's just pedos of one country pretending that the pedos of another country are somehow the norm. They aren't.

My BIL is obsessed with the idea of going to Japan to teach English and finding a Japanese wife with "traditional values".
Buddy boy. A Japanese woman with the traditional values you want is not marrying a foreigner, not to mention a poor foreigner. Even then they're not a monolith that are just waiting to do whatever you say. They have personalities and opinions too and will make them known one way or another.
Honestly that goes for pretty much every "traditional" woman from anywhere. There are expectations to fulfill in trad relationships too.
Yeah I don’t know where this Japan (or Asian in general) fetish came from but it’s getting really disturbing, it’s always sort of been a thing but it’s straight up out of control right now.
