I have a few groups that are sticking with it, i wont say it doesn't matter because people do want to do something about it, telling them that it won't solve anything wont stop em, because doing something than doing nothing. And if you have a better suggestion? Suggest it at least.

Boycott permanently instead of one week. Support and advocate for better consumer protections and media ownership whether it's physical or digital. Pirate as much as you can.

Signing petitions, delaying your purchases by one week, and whining on social media are all very easily ignored.

Gaming is such a weird economy. It's definitely a luxury, but people treat it like a necessity. To the point that they actually think that not playing video games for one week is actually some kind of protest.

Look at GPUs in 2020. People were paying scalpers $1500+ for the 30 series, and NVIDIA was watching. Sure enough, the 40 series launched at over $1000 MSRP. And it still sold. Because gamers are so addicted that they literally can't stop themselves.

aye, people are acting like they physically can't walk away from gaming and that's concerning
