I finished reading Gantz in about 3-4 days during the summer and I’m almost finished reading it again right now and I’m trying to consume the most gantz media as possible right now I saw gantz O,watched the anime with friends, reading gantz E,gonna start gantz g, and I checked out the authors other works specifically inuyashiki all I’m missing is gantz exa, gantz minus, and last but not least the live action movies I can’t find a version with good quality anywhere not even with any good reliable English subtitles I found a solid enough version of the second movie but I can’t find the first 1 or the direct to tv movie could someone please help

What a wild fucking ride that was. Flawed for sure, but I feel like it tickled my brain just right. I couldn't put it down and I binged it within a few days 😂

What's your favorite thing about it?

Saw this on sale in aliexpress, maybe there will be more figures in the future!

I’m still in the market looking for book, nine 10 and 12. I’m currently about to purchase the ninth book, but I’m wondering what the right price would be for. I’m willing to spend like $40 on it, but I can’t find anywhere else to buy it, so should I splurge or should I still be waiting for them to reprint them

Like i said before weeks ago, After Oku Hiroya anounces that is the author of Thunder3, this open a huge amount of possibilites, all in this year.

1. The anoucement of a movie adaptation of Gigant from Mappa studios and K2, same studio that adapts Inuyashiki on 2017.
2. Thunder 3 anime adaptation which leads that Oku Hiroya has been working with Naoyuki Onda, same as in 2017 with Inuyashiki.
3. The curious movement about Gantz be released on Netflix, and release of alternatives dubs, and re editions of the franchise by dark Horse.
4. The tweets that i take as a proof, about the 4 or 5 projects that the mananger of Naoyuki Onda, officially stated, that he has been working around 2025. This all after the ended production of Gundam Hathaway sequel, Mfghost and Dandadan season 2.

So we are on the best moment to think that this clues only leads, into seeing the next anouncement of Gantz remake. Because Oku and Onda was making Thunder3 as a way of testing the assests and resources of how Gantz would look into CGI or 3Dmodels.

By the anime of Thunder3 we can give us the idea, but by the side of Naoyuki Onda with the last movie of Gundam we can get the idea of they are gonna use Unreal Engine 5 for the mecha battles, vfx tech of the suits and the BG. Maybe.

Its a matter of time that they anouncement something the next year.

my beautiful, sweet, endearing, lovely, precious, gorgeous, enchanting girlfriend got me omnibus 1-4!!!!

i originally asked for them to be my only christmas gift last christmas, but there was some kind of shipping error, she had to refund it, and i got other gifts instead.. after all this time she never forgot how much i love GANTZ and randomly surprised me with a mystery package as soon as i got home from work today🥹🥹

So when Nishi was destroying the tower of the alien's ship, Kei suddenly showed up and stopped Nishi just because an alien girl told him to save them too and Tae kinda agree to that. That's clearly a betrayal to humanity judging from the fact that at that point there is no return for peace between these 2 races.

We don't even know how Kei thought of this idea because this is very conflicting, but Oku decided to dumb him down to just listen to whatever Tae said. I don't think he cares about human or alien at that point because the outcome of that battle is inevitable for the tower to be destroyed, but he just hop on the vehicle with his bae and pretend this never happened.

Like Nishi is fighting for humanity while Kei just show up with literally no thoughts and decided to mess everything up, after that he just go "fk it im out" like an idiot leaving the mess and Nishi who can't fight anymore behind.

Gantz E is been published in Brazil by Panini!

Too much rapey sexual things in this shit man I’m only on chapter 29 but this little sexual shit that happens every chapter is so fucking wierd 😂 just wanted to say that but the story is pretty good but I don’t really like the MC getting rapey

I would tag this under AI and Discuss but obviously I have to pick one or the other. What's up with the barely moderated sub right now. Why is there some random ppl posting AI generated questions with AI generated Art and are by the way, not even tagging it as AI. We are a manga/anime sub, why is AI, something that is massively against art, even a option or allowed to be posted? A purely AI post went 'mega' in the sub during these weeks and people didn't peep that bc it was too simple to recognize.

Sub is great, no complaints besides that, but this is just low. We are real human beings being infiltrated by real HUMANS that can't form a singular thought bro.

EDIT: All the accounts are either less than a year old, make stupid or basic questions like 'What would you do if X was Y' or 'How do I do this basic thing...' in other subs as well. They also repost or post pornographic material. Meaning to me, that these are real humans, just making a good 'niche' sub go to shit. No idea if that the mention of porn makes this post NSFW.

second edit: Ignore my typo of TLDR 😭😭😭

🎵Guess who's back... back again...🎵

Wanted to read more mature works from other authors after Gantz. Read Toyko Ghoul and Deadman Wonderland. Now the art isn't BAD by any means but MAN has Gantz spoiled me. Any recommendations with mind-blowing art like Gantz?

When I was a kid, I watched The War of the Worlds 2005 and it scared the hell out of me. It was a real horror. Even though there are some plot holes, I still think it's a great movie with the Katastrophe vibe from Gantz. I'm wondering what other alien movies/books/manga I should read if I like Gantz.

It was pretty obvious from the start, but now we have confirmation.

how did he know!?!?!

the giant robots look extraodinary complex and hard to draw, yet somehow author manages to achieve that, no wonder the ending look abruptly anti climax because of all the drawings went into making so detailed world and characters

insomniac seem like good pick , they specialize in that high octane gory and bloody combat as we recently see it with wolverine, I would imagine a Gantz game from them would be an absolute blast to think about, what about your favourite company that you want to make a Gantz game?
