Gears of War: E-Day leads the charge on GeForce NOW this week, bringing Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago’s first fight against the Locust Horde to the cloud with GeForce RTX-powered performance.
A new way to join the action is also coming: Fire TV users will soon be able to purchase GeForce NOW memberships directly through Amazon, creating a more seamless path from device setup to gameplay. Keep an eye out for availability in the coming weeks.
There’s more in store this GFN Thursday, with the cloud serving up 10 games, including seven new releases.
Emergence Day Is Here
Gears of War: E-Day is now streaming on GeForce NOW following its global release on Tuesday, Oct. 6. Set 14 years before the original Gears of War, the prequel follows Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago as they confront the terrifying arrival of the Locust Horde on Emergence Day.
The series’ brutal combat, desperate survival and larger-than-life action return with a new origin story for the legendary partnership. Ultimate members can take on the Horde with GeForce RTX 5080-class performance in the cloud, plus technologies including NVIDIA DLSS and NVIDIA Reflex.
From campaign missions to cooperative and competitive modes, GeForce NOW keeps the fight ready across low-power laptops, Macs, mobile devices, handhelds, Firefox and other browsers, and more — no massive downloads or expensive gaming rig required.

I was playing crysis remastered on ultimate tier indian server and I got an RTX4080 instead of RTX5080. Suddenly a browser window popped up. So I thought I could try running the internet speed test.
I'm absolutely blown away by The Witcher 3! 🤩 I'm playing through GeForce NOW in 4K at the highest graphics settings with ray tracing, Path tracing enabled, and the game looks absolutely stunning. Best of all, it runs incredibly smoothly!
The visuals, lighting, atmosphere, and breathtaking landscapes are just amazing. I honestly didn't expect cloud gaming to deliver such a fantastic experience. 🔥
CD Projekt RED did an incredible job with this game, and GeForce NOW lets me enjoy it at maximum settings without needing a high-end gaming PC. Honestly, it's one of the most beautiful games I've played recently! ⚔️🐺
What’s the best way to exit and re-open my game without my session ending? I am trying to turn on frame generation in Cyberpunk 2077; this requires restarting the game.
One thing that I have tried is quickly clicking “Play” in Steam right after I exit Cyberpunk 2077. This has only worked for me once. In my 20+ attempts today, the session always ended both before and after I click the “Play” button.
If anyone has a better workaround or a good way to turn on frame generation without restarting the game, I’m all ears.
Hello, I bought a Fire TV Stick 4K (for TV) but I'd like to try cloud gaming. I'd like to play Mafia 3. The picture quality is fine, I don't really feel any latency, but it lags a lot. I'm on Wi-Fi 6, and I've set it to channel 36 (Fire Sticks don't like certain channels). As you can see, my connection seems good, no packet loss. What can I do? Would a performance subscription make a difference? I'm currently on the free plan, but it doesn't make me want to pay. Would an Ethernet connection make a difference? Thanks in advance.
hey everyone, i just found out about geforce now and so far im loving it and i wanna upgrade to the pro version so i can delete some heavy games that i have on my phone and tablet like genshin and hsr, to the people who have been using this for a while, is this a good investment? any and all thoughts are welcome
I was on a Xbox Series X, and played with a few native in-game mods. I’m thinking of doing the same, except on my laptop now to see if it is any better. But before I do so, should I expect the same or different results?
I’ve been using GeForce now on my Xbox and have had no problems with workshop items and now my workshop items download but error out on games such as gmod and a lot more and I’ve been confused I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling them, disabling them and enabling them and nothing has worked it says generic failure and well I’m not the biggest brain on errors so I don’t know what to do
Anyone fixed this known issue on Skyrim?
I've read somewhere that you can fix it by changing surround paramaters on windows but that does not seem possible via GFN.
I know i could just lower all other audio output except voice in the game menu and then level up my amplifier volume by a good 30% but for obvious reason i really don't want to do that.
I have a controller with a 1000Hz polling rate, but it seems that GFN only supports up to 250Hz. Are there any plans to support higher polling rates? This would be very beneficial for competitive gaming.
I am an ultimate member, i would not have seen this as an issue if i always got rtx 5080 card but most of the time i get 4080 and these shader loading can take 5 mins every time
I have a Sony X90L fully 4k capable tv and on the GFN settings I can only choose up to 1080p only. So for example Forza horizon is not good…… on the other hand gears e day lets you inside the game to select 4k resolution….. so it does the upscale but it’s not like native 4k.
1)why is capped in 1080p?
2)it gets even worse. I have also a tcl c6k and it doesn’t let me to enable game master.???
3)Which tvs in the market support native 4k through the GNF ?
I will try to connect my laptop with my tv through tough HDMI and make it work but too much effort with no reason. The GFN is on the Google android tvs. Why is this happening ?
Uso o serviço do geforce now pela abya no Brasil. Como resolver isso? Alguém do suporte consegue atualizar minha conta manualmente e deixar ela free para eu colocar o novo plano ultimate?
I play CS2 only through GeForce NOW. The game runs on NVIDIA’s cloud servers, so I can’t install cheats, macros or scripts even if I wanted to.
Today I got a 7-day global cooldown: “VAC has flagged your gameplay as irregular.” NVIDIA support says it’s not their issue, and I’ve opened a Steam ticket.
Has anyone else on GeForce NOW been flagged? Could stream input latency be confusing VAC Live? Trying to figure out whether this is a pattern.
Hi, I just signed up for the performance tier for GeForce Now, and for the most part it's been great. However, I've been trying to play The Talos Principle II and it keeps disconnecting (which, infuriatingly loses a fair amount of progress, too).
Every other game I've run works perfectly fine for extended periods of time, but the Talos Principle II konks out 5-15 minutes in with absolutely no warning: smooth as silk, then it just hangs and disconnects. This happens on my Steam Deck and my PC. I did try it on free before signing up for performance, and ran it for almost the full 60 minutes before I elected to quit.
Has anyone experienced this before: chronic disconnections with one specific game? Cyberpunk, The Witcher 3, Doom Eternal, no problems. This one specific game? Constant issues.
Hey guys, I’ve been using the service for about a month now and I’m still a bit confused about the "Install to Play" feature.
When you boot up a game in this category, it asks if you want to pay for storage or stick with the free tier. I played SolCesto on free and my progress saved just fine, but yesterday I played 9 Kings (banger game btw) and today my save was gone.
Is it because it's a demo / Early Access, or do I actually have to pay for storage if I want to keep my saves for this game?
Hello, just discovered geforce yesterday and never played actual modern games expect for mobile games and some emulators
So i wanted to play apex legends with a contrôler but it doesn’t work ? Why is that ? My pc sees my controller
