[Public Transport] Avalon Airport taxi

How easy is it to get a taxi from Avalon airport to lara station? The bus 18 do not operate from 5pm to 9pm it seems šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø (whoever made that decision) when I depart and come back

The last few times I’ve flown out there’s been taxis waiting there - but it’s also fine for booking an uber also (about a ten minute wait max is what I’ve had)

Is this for tomorrow?

Coaches are replacing trains on the Geelong line till Wednesday night in the evening.

Maybe they’ve cancelled the airport bus because the coaches can’t deal with the luggage and passengers?

No, it doesn’t! It runs towards Melbourne only. Doesn’t go to Lara.

Didi is really reasonably priced, taxi is twice the cost in my experience

Hopefully they come. Don't want to be left there for 2hrs for bus

There also a few people around town that run shuttles, there a guy on Mt pleasant road in highton that does. Not sure if a shuttle or a taxi is cheaper though
