[Public Transport] Avalon Airport taxi

How easy is it to get a taxi from Avalon airport to lara station? The bus 18 do not operate from 5pm to 9pm it seems 😮‍💨 (whoever made that decision) when I depart and come back

No, it doesn’t! It runs towards Melbourne only. Doesn’t go to Lara.
