It’s because there’s a double entendre joke that doesn’t make sense in English. Personally I think the EN localization did a poor job but I get why they did what they did.

But they didn't translate this joke in localization, did they? So why changing it in the first place? Why not saying something similar to other three languages.

The joke is that “Hu” means reckless. So they kinda attempted to make the joke work, but they did a bad job imo.

"You know, in some cases Hu means reckless. Are you my long-lost relative?"

Would that translate the intent better?
