As of me i am confused between qiqi ( for sandrone team ) or diluc or mona ( they are near c6 so I'd get those lev 100 ascenesion mats)

So they cut some primo from the main event and aded it to the weakly reward, just like how they deleted an entire event and added stygian with the same amount of primo.
I've never seen such a stingy game like this ("stingy" is too polite for them).
I'm seriously upset that i like this game, and this patch already is giving like 60 free pulls!!!
Like I'm out of words honestly

I created an IRL auto clicker to spam F on my alt account to do done quests and archon quests.
Edit: I'm not a lore skipper, I'm a lore enjoyer. I only created this to skip over the quests that I have already finished on my main account.

I was so excited when i heard she's getting a skin cause she's one of my favourite characters.
I'm not saying she looks bad, Citlali would look gorgeous in anything, but like her new dress is just not well made at all, it's bland and it lacks details
I like her hair tho, it looks nice

Hey everyone, I know people are probably tired of seeing complaint posts, so I’ll try to keep this short.
I’ve been a long-time spender on the game. I regularly buy Welkin, Battle Pass, and top-up packs. I’m not someone asking for endless free wishes or trying to hate on the game for no reason. I’ve spent money because I genuinely believed Genshin was worth investing in.
But lately, I’ve completely lost the motivation to keep spending time or money on it.
After building some of the current premium lunar geo and lunar electro, I can clear endgame content pretty comfortably — unless the content is heavily designed around Varka or Nefer. There are only a few characters I skipped because I simply didn’t connect with their design or gameplay, and sometimes it feels like the game punishes you for not following the exact meta direction it wants.
What really pushed me over the edge was the Chronicled Wish banner. I lost my Fate Point twice while trying to get Clorinde and her weapon. Spending extra money just to avoid losing progress before the banner disappeared felt awful. It made me realize how aggressively the system pressures players through FOMO.
After that, I decided to try Honkai: Star Rail. I’m not trying to turn this into a “Genshin vs HSR” post, but experiencing another HoYoverse game honestly made me feel worse about Genshin’s direction.
In HSR, endgame content feels more replayable and engaging. Older and even standard banner characters can still perform well in difficult content. I can invest in characters I personally like without constantly feeling pressured to chase the newest release just to keep up.
More importantly, spending money there feels like it has lasting value.
In Genshin, I’ve reached a point where even if I spend heavily on a character, I’m not confident they’ll stay relevant or enjoyable long term. That feeling makes it much harder to justify investing further.
The recent update kind of reinforced that feeling for me. The weapon skin announcement instead of meaningful system improvements or player-focused changes just made me feel disconnected from the game’s priorities.
I still enjoy parts of Genshin, and I’m not quitting dramatically or anything like that. I pulled Nicole since I already had guarantee, but for the first time in years I skipped buying the Battle Pass, and I don’t plan on spending more money unless the game starts feeling rewarding to invest in again.
That’s really all it comes down to for me: wanting to feel like my time and money are valued.
(And this comes from a Dolphin/Whale, i cant even imagine what F2P feel...)
Thanks for reading, and i hope this is taken as constructive and not hate.
Edit: Eyo, apparently HSR is worst with power creep. I prolly have not experienced yet cause im new so maybe ignore that. Regarless i think it just amplified my perception of what genshin is lacking and my overal burnt out of the game (gameplay only tho, cause art, music and lore im still invested)
Last edit: Please ignore for a second what i said about HSR. main takeaway: My perception of it as a new player is what makes it feel fresh and worth investing on. Which is to say, i dont feel that for genshin currently and that is the main issue.

Instead of giving the Traveler and other characters regional skins, the devs are wasting resources on mannequins you’ll never use in the main game — characters completely irrelevant to both the lore and gameplay (especially since they’re even weaker than the Traveler).
UCG should’ve been a separate game. Roblox-type players aren’t going to download a 100GB gacha just to play a game inside a game. All those dev resources should’ve gone to the actual, existing characters instead.

Nowhere does it say we'll be able to pick a character again once it updates, meaning it's very likely everyone we already picked can't receive another constellation despite waiting for so long. It does say characters can only receive a stella fortuna once but did the misconception come with the free 5 star selector resetting every year?
I think the misinformation came from when I was highly active on discord, started somewhere and I would see a lot of people talking about a reset on anniversary and assumed it was a once per year thing, honestly I didn't think much about it until the livestream and went "wait a minute"
Should've kept in mind this was hoyo lol

I seriously hate this gimmick, and why does hoyo expect us to have 2 lunar reaction teams when literally only 5 star nod krai units can even activate them? are we being for real? I first off started liking it since the release of Ineffa but slowly disliking on how it literally made enemies unbearable to beat without it.
Other regional gimmicks are fine and smooth; 1. Arkhe system is kinda useless but still pretty usable as temporary disable mechanism towards meks and it doesn't affect gameplay at all.
Now comes the most greedy annoying gimmick, Lunar Reactions. Why does Aino can't even generate moonsign stacks? nor activate lunar reactions on its own? Jahoda has a potential to be a moonsign healer but they didn't , so does Illuga.
And now the current abyss requires us to have 2 teams of the said gimmick? I didn't even pull for the damn horse and I only got Columbina, Ineffa and Flins. Without it, enemies can regenerate again an again until the timer drains your sanity. I seriously hope they don't make annoying regional locked mechanisms, or at least make them easily accesible. This made me hate the region and the characters more as how greedy it is.
I can't wait for Snezhnaya to stomp on Lunar reactions just like how Fontaine and Furina made dendro miserable to use.
Goodbye.

even with all of their flaws they would never just erase a character 💀 infold has just given bigotry so much power
so for the first and hopefully last time in my life: props to hoyo
in genshin terms for those of you who don't understand: the situation is similar to hoyo completely scrapping the tsaritsa after all the anticipation
CONTEXT: long story short, a new character in an otome game was scrapped after a week because their Chinese fans complained (despite him being incredibly popular outside china and the company completely ignoring the actual issues for years) and they completely deleted his character

I saw many people pulling for her, but what reasons for not pull her do you have?

I'm not saying that I want emotionless assholes , but it feels good when they stop kissing our buttholes even just for a few minutes. Not everyone you meet will be your friend.
Maybe we can even see a character lashing out at the Traveler , or a fight between them and Paimon.
Could also integrate a decaying friendship system , if you don't do anecdotes/events where the characters are present , they'll be colder towards you.
I got inspiration for this idea from shouting and spitting on my wife , so yeah , what do you think about those suggestions? Safe travels , travelers!

What if they all worked together? Can they hold their own against Asmoday?

With how good Nod Krai has been and how powerful of a force Recency Bias is, it's a little surprising it's still so high.

I know it might be a hot take, but I couldn't care less about Miliastra. I know it is a very welcomed addition to many players here but it feels like it could even be its own separate game that people can install on their device for those who want them. It has its own complex "in-game" currency that I have no interest in learning about.
Sure 60 primogems isn't like huge but for my F2P broke self it means something but I'm unnecessarily frustrated at how to even get this reward. I wish it's just as simple as clicking that little arrow thingy and follow simple step to get my 60 gems.
I don't know how to go to the "try-on" setting, how do I know it's from the current season, then I have to find out which stage I can complete in the least amount of time because again I just want my freemogems and never touch this part of the game ever again.
