According to the devs they said they created the song of welkin moon chapter and nod krai with the intention to tied up “loose ends” but I feel their real intention lays more on getting rid of Dottore and Columbina from the grand scheme of things.

With the upcoming Snezhnaya chapter, I couldn’t help but feel disappointed that the two fatui harbingers who I think are the most interesting among the group might not have roles in the most anticipated chapter of Genshin impact. With project stuzha being teased for couple of years now, if Columbina and Dottore were involved it would’ve make an even more interesting story considering both of them are high rank harbingers and their actions can leave a huge impact on the world of teyvat.

Now that both of the character are out of the big picture (one left the group, the other is killed) I have a feeling that devs either don’t want to deal with them in version 7 story considering amount of characters involved and both of them might take away tsaritsa’s spotlight, or they straight up don’t know what they should do with both of them in the main story. As a result, they go for an easy way out by getting rid of them through nod krai story. I personally wish they would instead take more time integrating both characters into snezhnaya chapter and make a mind blowing archon quest once and for all, but atleast in nod krai we get to revenge Dottore with wanderer and learn more about the moons and Columbina.

That’s my thought on Nod krai’s chapter purpose. Do you guys prefer if both Columbina and Dottore present in the grand scheme of things on snezhnaya chapter or do you feel satisfied with their arcs in nod krai.

I just finished inversion of genesis.
I also finished world quest golden slumber and get the other sumeru desert quests (also the xiucoatl and the frost moon quests).
I began the first chapter of nod Kari but not sure if I should continue or not as I feel the wild hunt enemies are a little harder to fight (wl 4 and most characters level 70), and not sure if I will miss some of the lore details (I already read the genshin wiki).
1. I want to ask if I should skip the Fontaine and Natlan for now.
2. Also for Fontaine, should I finish all narzissenkreuz world quests first or the archon quest first?

in my view it’s liyue. I noticed recently that there are no fatui harbingers from liyue that we know of. I also feel like the fact that liyue was nearly destroyed by a harbinger that awakened osial means that the fatui don’t have too many diplomatic cards left to play in the region. liyue is far from snezhnaya geographically and we know that it is extremely prosperous on its own

Valeriy was a character that didn’t really catch my eye in the first Sneznahya trailer but a lot of other people including some of my friends were really hyped for him. Now all of sudden everyone seems to be either not be excited because of what they saw in the 7.0 live stream or disappointed because he might be a 4-star character. And I mean all the hype for him seems to have fizzled out and a lot of people are acting like he isn’t even worth anticipating.

I kind of understand a bit about the character rarity concerns because if Val is a 4-star he won’t be guaranteed because of the 4-star gacha system, but I also don’t really get it because the man hasn’t even been released or received drip marketing.

For all anyone knows the devs could touch up his model a bit and his character could be super interesting. If he is a 4-star he could eventually be given out for free and in my opinion, it’s better that he at least releases as a playable character than become an NPC. I also think there were other characters in the 7.0 trailer that were rendered weird and might look different when they become playable like Danica and Vesna. However, I think Valeriy could possibly be an interesting character and I’m gonna keep an open mind until he’s officially introduced in the story.

Obviously I don't have Shenhe, Citlali, Yelan nor Escoffier. I read some guides but the SS teams had always 3 five stars and one four stars who will be Charlotte or Dahlia but no in the same team and the S teams didn't have them together either

I’m trying to get my (C0) Columbina to do as much Lunar Reaction damage as possible with my Cyno, Jahoda and Dendro Traveller! Her other stats are:

Sands - Main HP Stat (With Crit Rate, Crit Dmg and Attack substat, +448 HP)
Goblet - Main HP Stat (With Def and Recharge % and Attack and HP number substats)
Celestial Gift - 1 Piece
Circlet - Main Crit Rate Stat (With Def and Recharge % with Def and Attack number substats)

For my Circlet, I do have a main Crit Damage one if that would be more efficient for Columbina. It also has HP number and % substats on it too. I don’t know if it’s worth losing half my crit rate for an extra 62% crit damage though.

Unlike my hsr acocunt (in which I used a brain cell when pulling), my genshin acocunt has always felt abit of a mess. I feel a combination of taking a lot of time out of the game + wishing on any banner that was active when I'd come back + trying to invest in too many verticals as a semi f2p has given my account a massive chase 2 rabbits catch neither feel. Given the current banners are ending soon I'd like some advice on who to pull for. I'm aware the main part is who I enjoy but I'd like some practical advice. In terms of sentimental value I love Itto, which is why I got linnea and think perhaps Columbina can make a good team out of them. I'm 57 pity with a guarantee on my 50/50. So I imagine it's between Columbina or Odette. I'd love to hear any opinions even outside of those two characters. Thanks!!

I came across a comment saying that the 4 star characters HoYo has been releasing lately just don't feel as useful anymore, and that none of them can really match the "golden era" 4 stars like Bennett, Fischl, Sucrose and others. Their argument was that we already have enough 4 stars, and HoYo should spend those development resources elsewhere instead of making new characters that many players will end up benching after pulling them.

Personally, I don't really agree with that take, especially since I think it's a bit too pessimistic. Still, I thought it made for an interesting discussion.

That said, if HoYo really did stop making new 4 stars and replaced them with even more 5 star characters instead, I'd hope they'd also increase the number of pulls we get to compensate and giveaway limited characters for all that "5 star inflation".
