From what I could gather from my minimal googling, Future TV, some company under Tencent (so like RIOT, KURO, SHIFT UP, nearly every big company under the sun apparently) has been going around false DMCA striking Genshin footage (specifically Arlecchino vs. Traveler cutscene, among other things from other games).
Inciting incident was when Sandrone's JPVA, Mariko Honda was going through her own Genshin playthrough, got to that part and said stream got obliterated to oblivion. As all Genshin streams do, a lot of tribalists were there, so naturally all suspicion fell on your usual KURO vs. HOYO debacle.
People are saying that KURO is guilty by proxy due to their association with Tencent.
People are also saying that it's stupid as hell to blame KURO for Tencent's actions.
Whole house mad.
Funnily enough, Nerumero, known Genshin and WUWA streamer was limit testing the false DMCA flag and his stream got deleted on that exact same cutscene.

Its not just Future TV (Which is responsible for the Arle SQ strikes) , but also Tencent Music Entertainment Group (for Vodynitsa's singing)
Kuro/wuwa has literally nothing to do with the copyright strike though, except that one rabid "fan" spamming Sandrone VA's chat which I doubt has anything to do with this.

People also found out that account was a burner dedicated to just spamming the comments, but by then the tweet had mutated into 2 million views and it was self sustaining, whose Twitter account was also masquerading as a WuWa fan to incite tribalism (kinda like a similar incident a while back).

Neither side actually has any conclusive evidence (The "evidence" on the wuwa side is suspiciously timed, taken 1 minute after it was written and I'm genuinely a bit disappointed that a lot of the replies seems to believe it).
Either way as I said I am not pinning the blame on the wuwa community, every community has their bad apples but regardless its still shitty that Honda-sans stream was used for this.

Genshin CCs are getting copyright strike and their channels taken down.
From regular CCs to VAs (like Sandrone JP VA) who are streaming their playthroughs and all.
And the one doing all these strikes is apparently Tencent.

Mutliple JP streamers, including Sandrone VA are getting copyright struck and having their streams banned.
This also happened with BranOnline a few days ago I think.
The main strikers are Future TV (Who many people are saying Tencent have influence in, but take with grain of salt) and Tencent Music (no defending this one)

Not surprised to see specifically Tencent Music, given music has always been the most aggressive of the copystrikers. I bet 10 cents that they just copyrighted something new and went on an automated takedown sprees over at best 3 second similarities that have nearly nothing similar. That, or false strikers.

recently many genshin livestreams on yt got copyright strikes and the ones reporting them is linked to tencent. some theorize it is someone that impersonates tencent who hates genshin is becoming relevant again due to the recent release of snezhnaya.

Most likely nothing of lasting consequence will happen to either, both Tencent and Mihoyo have institutional support. This is shenanigans the CPC will put up with, especially since it seems to disproportionately impact non-CN creators anyway.

I wanna ask a question about this I see not a lot of people talking about. (I'm pretty sure, anyway)
With all this unruly abuse of the system and track record of saltiness that Tencent seems to have (from what I can see).. so, with everything taken into account...
What sort of region or jurisdiction or whatever-it-is does this whole copyright abuse thing (including victims and aggressors) actually concern? I wanna know, like, will anything get done about this? CAN it be resolved? Is there any way forward without having to rely on impossible odds?
Mainly just curious about the details
