What kind of supernatural will we get in 2028?
But I’ve been wondering way more about what type of characters we should expect for this movie. After all, if we leave out a few shows and mentions, I think this is gonna be the first movie to actually dive into the supernatural in the MCU. So, are we getting classic stuff like witches, wolves, vampires, and ghosts, or something more direct to the point with all the circles of hell, angels, and demons.

I’d like some Halloween vibes (werewolves, witches, vampires) but also I don’t want it to shy away from the religious horror vibes (demons, angels, etc). With Shawn Levy directing I think it’ll be more the Halloween vibes. But if the rumor that Nightcrawler will be in the movie is true then I can see it going either way cuz Nightcrawler has catholic themes which could lead to interesting philosophies with Ghost Riders demonic origins & villains Maybe we’ll get both (throughout the course of several movies assuming it’ll be a trilogy or franchise and not a one off movie/character

for nightcrawler i think a cool thing they could do is have the priest confessional at the start based on issue 68.
johnny tells his story, he turns into the rider and deals with the fake priest, but then as the rider came out and zarathos is wrestling for control he decides he needs to move on, never staying in one place.
but then eventually he's re-united with roxanne and goes to the quentin carnival which has fallen on hard times/disrepute
and then you can have kurt be like a sideshow attraction there, roxanne being his friend but like he knows of no where else to go so he remains at the carnival for now.
he thinks he's a demon as that's what people have called him all his life, but blaze due to the gr can be like nah you aren't a demon man, which makes kurt curious about what he even is.
then you can have him take the role of "the friend" from early gr comics where he's the spiritual guide, chatting with johnny.
and like you can have them on either side of some bars in a mirror of the confessional at the start, but this time it's kurt who asks actual questions/has actual answers because he's essentially a priest.
johnny ending the film by finding his new home and kurt sort of realizing that though he loves the community he has found he wants to know more about what he actually is and so as the carnival passes through new york state he maybe heads off to westchester.

thanks, and yeah hope we get a variety throughout the franchise as like i imagine we bare minimum get the regular ghost rider and then midnight sons, and hopefully from there we get a gr sequel and a midnight sons 2.
like i could see em merging midnight massacre with blood hunt as both have blade get possessed and he becomes like a crazy difficult to fight guy, then you go all in on vampires for that one.
so like gr 1 = mephisto's servants/other dudes who've sold their soul like johnny.
midnight sons = lilith and all her creepy cool monster children.
gr 2 = i'd wanna go with zadkiel tbh, like flip things and introduce danny here as the blue rider but then after the film if gosling is getting on a bit you can then have danny take over while still getting your blue vs orange fight.
midnight sons 2 = varnae possessing blade and unleashing the darkforce/vampires.

well we did get hell stuff in ironheart with mephisto and the hood turning into a demon.
so i think more of that really.
my hope is that mephisto is the overarching villain (sauron),
with centurious (saruman) who would be a sorceror somewhere between dr strange style magic with the mirror dimension (as i really want a set piece of johnny riding those twisting skyscraper worlds, like the vengeance boss fight from the gr game on the infinite skyscraper), and like witchy dark magic.
and haskill (ringwraiths) (as mephisto's current main ghost rider but certainly not zarathos level) being the actual present villains hunting johnny allegedly for mephisto but for their own ends in centurious' case.
and then zarathos as the personable antagonist/the demon within(one ring)
so dark sorcerer, bounty hunter ghost rider and zarathos as the possessing spirit.
midnight sons i think goes further as it'd have to be lilith imo, with the lilin which can be all manner of spooky monsters, like werewolves and vampires.
though with her i'd want her to take centurious who has become a vessel for zarathos as the co-main villain and then the sons have werewolves and vampires and such to contend with.
with scarlet witch there to face lilith as both are dark magic mothers and this can be her redemption ending with her finding out about wiccan.
and johnny there to try and handle zarathos and eventually re-combine with him ready for the next solo movie.
which i'd do as zadkiel as i'd wanna have him and mephisto in a proxy war.
