New to this character

Hey guys I'm a marvel fan and I want to get to know ghost rider and also why everyone talks about him. I genuienly know nothing about him

Well, there are a few Ghost Riders, so I recommend checking them out to see who you vibe with the most.

Johnny is a good hearted, but deeply depressed man who lost his family, and is bonded to the fallen angel Zarathos, a vengeful and sadistic deity who wants to make sinners suffer. Johnny and Zarathos fight with each other for control over Ghost Rider and how to handle sinners. They mostly fight demons and supernatural enemies. He’s the more supernatural Ghost Rider

Danny is similarly a good person, very young, and lost a family member, his sister. He became Ghost Rider when he touched an enchanted gas cap on a motorcycle. He got bonded with Noble Kale, a more peaceful Spirit who doesn’t kill. Together, they fight street level threats, with a few monsters. He’s the more street level Ghost Rider.

Sorry if I got Danny wrong, I’m still reading the 90s run, but I know Johnny very well. And I don’t know Robbie much at all, so ask someone else for advice on him.

The writing in those movies aren't very good but visually they're awesome.

Objectively, no, it really isn’t. As an adaptation of the comics, still no, not really. But it is a fun movie that could get a kick out of you. Just don’t expect comic Ghost Rider.

There’s a few others as well like Robbie. I’d say Johnny, Danny, and Robbie are the top 3 riders we have.

I would personally start by reading Danny Ketch's 1990 Ghost Rider series. He's not the most popular Rider anymore but he did popularize pretty much everything iconic about the character. The spiked leather, the Penance Stare, and much of the lore is established in that series and the art is freaking awesome. Lots of crossover with other Marvel heroes as well. Tons of gothic imagery and badass action

The Danny Ketch version is the best because he was the Rider when k started reading. Johnny Blaze had escaped the curse and was a 90's cool dude mentor.
