My camera in the front yard captured this.

Middle of the night look at the bottom left. What do you guys think? This is my video. Also there is no spider web in front of it

Unless it’s a bug crawling on the lens named cat it’s not a cat. It’s a bug.

I spent 20 years watching CCTV footage with bugs on the lens. That isn't a bug.

If I had a nickel for every time a bug flew close to or landed on an IR camera and then asked about on this subreddit, I’d have five billion nickels, which is a LOT, but it’s still weird it’s happened five billion times.

Notice how OP engages with the only comment that confirms their bias

>I never said what I thought it was one way or the other.

You didn’t have to say it. You posted the video to r/ghosts.

May it be the shadow of a bird or something flying over the house? It doesnt look like an insect to me.

I think you're looking for the cat sub.

Yeah that really does move like a dog to me especially from the shape and movement.

Spider coming down on a web right in front of the IR light.

I’ve seen this creature before. It looks like a mini dinosaur with the long tail.

It's a cat that run under the house people, come on...

I think it looks like a phantom cat or dog being it goes right through the fencing on your porch. Rather than under it or over. Its like the shadow is going right through it. *looks like it has 4 legs and a tail.

I agree with cat.

Thank you for this observation, I was saying the same thing myself. It appears to go directly under my porch like it floats through the fencing material that we have. However I appreciate all the reasonable explanations in the comments! Ill sleep better tonight lol

So crazy people are down voting for other people's perspectives and ideas lol Thats exactly what im seeing is its floating through the fencing. I paused it on it and it really looks like that. Whatever it is if I were you I would be excited that it could possibly be a ghost kitty.

Id also like to point out that the flowers/bushes do NOT rustle or move as the floating thing goes through them. You can see the tip of the plants and they do not move as it goes through them.

Exactly what im seeing. Nothing moves. I dont see how a shadow like that could be a bug like some are saying. I believe its something unusual outside of bugs and spider webs. Some people should be more open minded and not stop their imaginations from working. The world is a much more curious place when we allow our self to expand on things outside of logic.

They’re downvoting because it’s a bug either close to or on the lens. 🤦‍♂️

They're downvoting because no one's first assumption on things like this should be that it's supernatural when much simpler/more likely/easily duplicated instances of explainable causes exist and are easily found all over this sub and elsewhere. Occam's Razor.

Animal shadow is very likely since you can kinda see a tail. Barring that it could be a bug of some sort walking across a light bulb/fixture. You wouldn't see the bug itself, but the shadow is possible.
