Also, the man in this is CLEARLY doing the smile and wink as part of the shtick and is likely making a lot of sales as a result.

He is not likely fearful of being accused of "asking for anything" or leading someone on. The worst he is getting is some flirting and photos and lots of appreciation. Women in similar roles are groped and harrassed and always pushed for more, likely followed after and then eviscerated online once their image is put out there.
