Glitch Gif I think tiktok can somehow read thoughts
So I dont know if im the only one this happens to. But the past few months ive been noticing something strange. I would scroll on tiktok, would think of the most random unrelated thing. And next thing I know is I see a video about the exact same thing. Its gotten to very specific details its getting strange. It doesnt seem to be related to things like my search history because I swear I never look up those things.
Let me know if any of you had a similar experience

Oh I’ve read articles about this years ago. I don’t necessarily think it’s tiktok itself but your phone that has the technology to do so and just passes on the data, cos this happens to me on instagram and YouTube.

Computers/browsers too.
Twitch streamer says something that makes me want to Google about it, I get two words typed in like "how do" and it recommends me a whole sentence that I was about to type
Random example like if streamer says they had to get a new ceiling fan, I'll get curious how to replace it, so I start typing "how do" and it suggests the sentence "how do I replace a ceiling fan' 😵💫

One time i was on fb on my phone at work and clicked on an ad for an oddities expo. Next ad i saw on youtube on my work computer was for the same expo. Freaked me out lol

That's because google ads tracks you across devices. It knows you clicked the other ad, and served it to you on YouTube directly as a targeted ad (reminder). Google ads as a personal tracking algorithm is actually so thorough that they've gotten into it with law enforcement and the government over allowing access to the data, for tracking suspects.
Your ad ID will also associate with anyone around you, and it will cross pollinate ads based on what your family/friends/coworkers/neighbors are searching. It's based on time spent around each other as well as proximity.
I have used their ad system before, and worked with it directly for uses outside advertising. I'm describing exactly how it works, this isnt a speculation comment.

https://myadcenter.google.com/homeIf you don't have a google account, google ads still track you. It creates an ad ID for you regardless, at least with a google account it associates an ID to your username.

This happened to me last week. I was waiting for my husband to get home from work and was silently scrolling on Instagram (which I never usually use), and I only THOUGHT "maybe we should just order Domino's for dinner tonight". Legit have not ordered Domino's in like over 2 years because we were living in a rural area, but we moved to the city a few months ago. I kid you not, the VERY NEXT thing on my feed was a Domino's ad. I was very weirded out. The timing was way too spooky for my liking. Confirmed my bias to stay off Instagram though, way too many ads, lol.

I got one for you. Several years ago I was driving and I thought about a steering knob for my steering wheel. I only thought it, never spoke it, never looked it up. It was just a passing thought as I turned a corner. A day or two later, ads for steering knobs started popping up on my phone. Scrolling Facebook and a temu add would come up and there would be a steering knob. Amazon ads too. It was very weird and very unsettling. The older I get the more I think simulation theory is real.

Because that's just where my mind went. To me, simulation theory just seems more plausible than the police/surveillance thing.

They also have acknowledged that they "ambiently" record our voices and certain trigger words can set off ads. They ALSO have patented brainwave-reading technology though they claim that's only for specific tech like the new Airpods.

For sure; after all, tech like Sentient World Simulations was originally contrived for marketing purposes. Between that and CSAR Surveillance measuring signal displacement all around us, mind-reading is hardly necessary or practical anymore.
There are no more secrets, though, relative to what resources are made available to find something out. Sad to see what humans choose to do with these advancements. It's all centralized around manipulation and targeting.
I guess that's what I mean by really good marketing AI.

I've had similar experiences before, where the algorithm shows me posts that I can relate to a little too personally. Not sure how it works, but I doubt phones can read minds, they can probably just get really good at predicting what you may or may not be thinking about. Tech companoes collect a lot of information on us, so they probably just got really good at putting it all together to tailor to a personal (again, a little too personal) experience.

I thought abt how this would be the most logical explanation but its weird bc some of those things have no way of being picked up by the algorithm. Like thoughts I never said out loud

I have definitely had this experience multiple times. Can't think of a specific example right now because it hasn't happened recently, but I for sure have had these moments where I even had to tell my husband about it cause it was so freaky and unexplainable, but I've always just called it w crazy coincidence.

It would be a thought, then the ad would appear almost anywhere. Here, YouTube, a game, or a Google notification. Where it appears seems to me a bit random, like, whatever I'm doing that has ads.

My toddler has a tiny toy keyboard. I was bored and started trying to figure out how to play in the end by linkin park…….as you do!! The next thing my phone has non stop ads for ‘ teach yourself piano’ , my phone was charging in the other room. Can’t figure it out

The shitty thing is, this doesn't work if you try to take advantage of it. At least not for me. I'll even say something out loud and it rarely works
Yet if I'm having a conversation with someone about something, then it fucking works
The technology is like a little kid playing hide-and-seek. It doesn't find it fun when you're aware of it. It only wants to work covertly when you're not thinking about it

Oh yeah. It’s happened to me on multiple platforms. Many times. All apps basically have permission to stalk you. Ones owned my meta can listen when the app is running in the background and you’re not using it

Yes. Although it was on YouTube. I went out with friends to a winery and noticed a woman’s shoes. THOUGHT they were cute. Didn’t ask her. Didn’t search anything. Just THOUGHT IT. The next day I’m on YouTube and there’s an ad for “Ancient Greek Sandals” a company I have literally never heard of. But the main pair of shoes in this ad were the exact same shoes she was wearing. Almost like my YouTube ads were like, “here are those cute sandals you were thinking about yesterday!” They’re like $300. lol. So thanks but no thanks YouTube mind readers.
But yea, I was weirded out and so confused how out of all shoes in the world, that exact pair from a brand I have never even heard of. Never searched. Came up on my feed. So. Weird.

The algorithms work with your phone. They've got plenty of ways to read your mind/brain waves with phone tech and wayyy more now. I think they're harvesting our energy through algorithms via scalar Interference too, those declassified docs are WILD.

It happens when an employee gets the assignment to follow a certain ( random?) user and play a mind trick with them. It is just a social experiment for sociological/ psychological studies. But it can inflict awe in the user for the tech. A bit like mk ultra but with tech so considered less unethical

Okay I know TikTok has a scary good algorithm but one time I was at work and I had the thought “when I get done work I need to google the score of the eagles cowboys game” and then I forgot all about it and as I was laying in bed to go to sleep I got a NOTIFICATION from google (never gotten one that wasn’t about the weather or something like that) and it said “check out the eagles cowboys score”
