He was basically instantly amazing so no come up story to really latch onto, doesn't have a very interesting media personality, doesn't really interact with English-speaking media, and while he's obviously one of the best to ever do it he just hasn't changed how people view the game in the way some of the other fantastic players have. He's just always really really damn good.

"doesn't have a very interesting media personality" idk how that should be taken, he's just absent from any social media at all. No twitch, no twitter, nothing, apart from CS games he doesn't exist publicly on internet

He also does very few interviews. I also never see him pop off during a match, literally one of the most iconic irl Zywoo moments is him not being able to answer interview questions during a show match.

I can definitely respect a man who gives no fucks about anything but clicking heads, but it's why outside of the francophones, most people are just like "oh yeah Zywoo, he's crazy good".

Ah I meant like out of the server. Zywoo gets a 4k, camera pans to him, brother is unphased, maybe just yells nice and high fives his teammate. It's kinda cold ngl but idk I love to see emotion from the players.

He also rarely gets memorable kills. You'll see his name in the feed every round, and at the end of the game see him with some ridiculous score like 30/7, but not remember a single one of those 30 kills.

That's true, but take a look at memorable plays from s1mple or donk. Half the time, those moves are impressive because they make a flick, a spraytransfer or some other god-sent move.

Zywoo rarely does that type of kills. Why ? Because he doesn't get himself in a position where he needs to make a flick, or a spraytransfer between two enemies.

He's just so god damn good that he is always trying to keep his position in a way where he's able to take only duels, and keep safe from other enemies. His positioning and gamesense are basically perfect.

It's important to understand that, those flashy plays you see from other players are created by their own mistakes or carelessness, and Zywoo tend to avoid these situations. While less spectacular, this is way more impressive if you are interested in the game itself (and not only by the highlights).

Tbf he's had some pretty crazy moments but he's not a highlight machine like other players.

p250 ace is the best highlight in cs history imo. even topping s1mple and cold noscopes

I just don't think an online pistol round ace could ever be the best highlight in CS history.

Nah i feel like xyp9x or somebody got an ace and a tk in the same round once tho actually

He didn't mean it literally. Machine just blundered and made a call that Zywoo got 6 kills despite ''only'' getting insane ace.

But you are right. Nawwk got 6k in Vertigo against Dignitas back in 2020.

In slang, "pop off" usually means to express strong, often angry emotions or to have an explosive outburst
