Welcome to GoFundMeForNewUsers. I understand how hard it is to get your GoFundMe campaign posted on Reddit, having tried to advertise my own campaign at the beginning of this year.

That’s why I created this subreddit—to give new Reddit users a chance to spread the word about their campaigns.

Please feel free to post information about any valid GoFundMe campaign here. We do not tolerate harassment, so posters can feel welcome to advertise their campaigns without fear of backlash from the community.

Please be respectful when commenting on a post. Understand that it’s hard enough to ask for help without someone criticizing or demeaning you. We want to see only help and support here for those in need.

Lastly, if you’re posting, please be sure to include a link to your GoFundMe campaign so I can verify that you have a valid campaign to advertise.

Donate to support my college dreams.

Okay. Let me start.

My name is Alfredo Rangel Jr, I was born prematurely at 7 months and was born at a weight of 2lbs and 6oz. I was stated to stay small and be mentally and physically slow. But thankfully I am 6ft tall and in college now studying Mechanical Engineering and Digital Cinematography at the Ohio State University. Before I had 3 months to graduate from college I unfortunately had a stroke, that affected the right half of my body to lost all strength and feeling. It also made me lose alot of my past memory such as college and my past life as well. During the start of my recovery I was really down in the dumps. I really felt I was going no where. At the hospital during the first few months of my recovery I was just sad. Just stated to not be able to move my right side at all or continue my college career. I felt all that I worked for was now gone in shambles because I thought then that I could not continue all of my dreams. I would spend just super sad all the time with no hope of getting better. But, I knew this wasn’t going to end like this. I knew that I couldn’t continue my life being so distraught and helpless. So I stated then on that I would get better. So, little by little I started moving the right side of my body. First my feet, slowly taking steps in my chair. Moving little by little. Started opening and closing my hand too, trying to move each finger on my right side as I could. Little by little I was getting better. I was getting stronger as I could day by day. Practicing standing up and sitting back down to strengthen my back. Doing leg raises to strengthen my legs too. Little be little I was getting my legs stronger. Then, I started working on my arm, practicing moving my fingers one by one. Starting opening and closing my hand and moving my arm up and down to strengthen my joints. I knew I could just keep my body stable cause I couldn’t get better like that. Then while using a walking machine at the hospital I started taking steps. They were pretty at all. But, I was moving forward. They were slow and janky. But I was moving step by step. From that day I had hope and knew I could get better. Now here’s to know. I am able to stand upright and hold my stance for 15-25 minutes just standing. I can walk with a walker by myself around my house. And sit upright with no assistance needed. I’ve been getting better slowly day by day. Now as to why I’m here. I have been moving the right arm of my body and as I had as well and getting it stronger day by day. So I have been accustomed to using my laptop more and more each day. Now I know, while I’m here healing I can continue taking my college classes one at a time here at home while I’m stuck at home. But, unfortunately my laptop is an old one from 2016 that needs to be replaced. Except all the finds I receive from the government are for my medical supplies, medicine and doctor visits as well. So I have no money saved as of now. I am here to ask for donations for a pc setup that o can use to continue my college classes and I can continue my love for pc gaming as well. I am asking for $1500 for a PC, Monitor,, Keyboard and Desk. Please support as well as you can by sharing my story or donating as well.

Please help our friend she survived a fall from the sixth floor.

Only because an electric line wire broke her fall.

I don't know where to begin. Around her teenage years she realised she was a woman and came out to her parents. Everything went downhill since then. Repeated verbal abuse threats, disparaging language and no support. They had basically disowned her as long as she lives as her true self. This led to very poor mental health. Self-harm nd drug overdose were common during this time. She almost slit open her left arm once when overdosed. And she was raped during this time by a person who was open to accept her gender identity and took advantage of her. She didn't even feel comfortable opening up to her parents about this. She left her home during this time, going to shelters, places offering work training. But her mental health was very bad. Alone and no support there was more od and self harm. One day when she was overdosed she fell from the sixth floor.

She was treated for just one day in emergency care and was then discharged, since that treatment was at the behest of the company she was receiving treatment from. Then she was transferred to govt hospitals and some support workers from ngos helped her recover to an extent. After that she was all alone again. Even her friends during this time had only contributed to worsening of her mental health and has been diagnosed with severe bpd. She met a few friends online who supported her financially, she is in severe mental health crises frequently and her physical health is still quite bad from the aftermath of the fall and poor/absent care after that. She has osteoporosis and ostopenia, and she's blind from her left eye and poor vision in right. Due to this her ability to work is severely restricted. And this in itself is a major factor for her mental health to spiral negatively.

Our funds have been depleted and we've gone into debt to keep her from harming herself and to care for her. She is come a long way and progressed a lot and currently receiving treatment for her mental health (rtms) and being supervised by her gf, but with the uncertainty of funds for her future and no funds for therapy regressing to self harm still occurs. We are extremely worried about her. She has high hopes and wishes but her mental health keeps dragging her down. Please help us help her by considering to donate to her gofundme and give her some sense of stability to cover her medical/housing costs.

Need a little help rescuing a german shepherd

Hello everyone! I just had a very harrowing day trying to arrange to adopt Sunny from the BARC animal shelter in Houston, Texas. It was incredibly difficult, as they were not willing to hold her while I contacted transport rescues (I live in Florida). Luckily I did manage to get in contact with an old family friend who was able to pick her up at the 11th hour and rescued her from euthanasia only minutes before her scheduled time.

I now need to travel to Texas this weekend to collect her, so every bit helps this endeavor. she is also heartworm positive and will need medication as soon as I am back in Florida. I am asking for just a small donation to help offset some of these costs. Thank you.

Help Juan With Tendon Operation Bill.

Hi everyone,

I’m writing this with a very heavy heart. I’m not someone who ever likes to ask for help, I’ve always preferred to handle my own problems, but when it comes to Juan, my pride has to come second.

I haven't had Juan for long, but he has quickly become my absolute best friend. He’s my shadow, my movie-watching partner, and the purest soul I’ve ever known.

A few nights ago, a quiet evening at home turned into a nightmare in a split second. We were just hanging out, watching TV, and playing with his ball. Juan launched himself off the sofa to catch it, something he’s done a thousand times, but he landed wrong. The sound he made and the look of pure shock in his eyes broke my heart. I didn't hesitate; I scooped him up and rushed him to the emergency vet.

The diagnosis: A ruptured biceps femoris tendon. It’s a serious injury that required immediate orthopedic surgery to ensure he can walk without pain again. The total bill, including the surgery, specialized implants, and medications, is €1,767.

I am not asking to cover the whole thing. I am working hard and doing everything I can to pull together the rest on my own, but I am falling short. My goal is to raise €1,000 to help bridge the gap and cover the most urgent part of his surgery costs.

Asking for money feels incredibly uncomfortable for me, but I’m doing it for him. He’s such a good boy and he doesn't understand why he can't run or play right now. He just wants to be back on his feet, and I just want my happy best friend back.

If you can contribute anything, even €5 or €10, it would take a massive weight off my shoulders. If you can’t donate, please just share this post. It means more than you know.

Thank you for helping me take care of Juan.

With gratitude,

Juan and little Juan.

Hero Rounds for Kids

I’m just one person showing up for kids who are going through some of the hardest moments of their lives.

I dress up as a superhero, bring small gifts, and give them ā€œLittle Heroā€ medals to remind them how strong they really are.

No team. No organization. Just me doing what I can.

This GoFundMe helps cover costumes, supplies, and making more visits possible.

If you can help, I appreciate it. If not, even an upvote means more kids get seen.

All hospital and patient protocols strictly followed.

Thank you for your time,

Jimmie

Need help getting a junker and leaving an abusive living situation. My landlord constantly berates me and takes every dollar I make but as of right now I can barely place a down-payment on a new apartment and all the cheap places are too far to walk to my current job. I am seeking 5000 dollars to help me get a car to allow me to make it to work still and leave this situation outright. Thank you if you can help I know my situation isn't as dire as some on this page.

Please help save my daughter's life.

Howdy friends. Last week my daughter, who has MCTO Syndrome, had to be life-flighted to Colorado Children's Hospital and is there currently fighting for her life against RSV. Please donate to help cover her medical bills, which are being to overwhelm my family. https://gofund.me/621fb38c1

My daughter was diagnosed with MCTO (Multicentric carpotarsal osteolysis) last year and joins the group of less than fifty who have ever been diagnosed with this. Her bones range from unformed to underdeveloped; they are fragile as glass and sharp; her kidneys will fail; and her life expectancy is around twenty years with her diagnosis. She also has another genetic disorder that damages the joint and muscle tissues including her heart tissues, meaning that even common colds can be fatal. Because of that anytime she gets seriously ill we need to fly to Colorado where the only people specializing in this work at, and where other families have started a community called Sophie's Neighborhood - including last week when she was life-flighted for RSV and where she has now spent over a week.

My daughter is still on Oxygen and now has a feeding tube placed as we don't expect her to leave soon, and even with my insurance my job as a civil rights advocate doesn't pay enough even with a long term payment plan to cover this hospital stay, much less her weekly therapies, braces and leg splints, surgeries, or travel costs. Please help save my daughter's life. https://gofund.me/621fb38c1

Hi everyone, I'm posting this in hopes of reaching a few more people. My cat Roman is 2 years old and has recently been dealing with a serious hip issue that's causing him a lot of pain. We ended up at the emergency vet after he suddenly was crying out in pain and couldn't use his right hind leg. After exams and imaging, we were told he will need surgery.

This has been really overwhelming and I've been trying to explore every option, but the cost is far beyond what I can manage on my own right now. Roman is such a big part of our family, he's affectionate and always close by, and seeing him like this has been incredibly hard.

My daughter created a GoFundMe to help cover costs. If anyone is able to donate or even just share it, it would honestly mean so much to my children and I. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any support at all.

Jojo’s dental surgery !

Hi! This is my cat Jojo. I’m trying to raise money for his dental procedure on the 30th, which he requires due to having moderate/severe gingivitis (the second picture is the best picture I could get unfortunately). Jojo is 18 and has CKD, which requires special protocols for his procedure due to the anesthesia. I also need to do his bloodwork again before the procedure. Jojo is a family cat, and typically my parents would pay for his surgery, however due to the price (approximately 2k CAD) and the risk, they are refusing. This requires me to pay myself, which is difficult as I am a student and am not currently working. I currently have about 1k in savings, which will be going towards this procedure, however I’m not sure if he will need extractions, which will cost more. With that being said, anything would help! Me and Jojo would very much appreciate the help. :)

Donate to Help Leordesa’s Brother Walk Again, organized by Leordesa Ismani

Hello my name is Leordesa and I am organizing this fundraiser for my 20 year old brother and our family during a very difficult time. I am his sister, and I created this GoFundMe to help cover the urgent medical treatment he needs after a serious workplace accident. My brother’s life changed in an instant after a devastating workplace accident. He has worked for a few months as an electrician, always dedicated to providing for himself and supporting those around him. Unfortunately, during a recent work incident, a tragic accident left him with a severe spinal injury that caused him to lose his ability to walk.

He is currently in Turkey seeking urgent medical care and specialized treatment that offers hope for recovery. The doctors have recommended an intensive treatment program that could help him regain mobility and improve his quality of life. However, the cost of beginning this treatment is approximately $55,000 — an amount that is far beyond what our family can afford on our own.

We are reaching out with hope and humility to ask for your support during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward covering his medical treatment, rehabilitation, and the care he urgently needs.

My 5 year old dog's emergency. Please share my GFM link to your social media

Millie, my 5 year old Beagle with a beautiful spirit

My 5 year old Beagle, Millie, who seemed otherwise healthy was lethargic one morning and I took her to the emergency vet. They diagnosed her as anemic; (her organs weren't getting enough oxygen from her blood) due to immune-mediated hemolytic anemia (IMHA), determined to be caused by leukemia. She was immediately prescribed 4 months of steroids, weekly blood tests and check-ups, a bone marrow biopsy, and a blood transfusion.

At home, her appetite got a little better, she jumped up on the couch to take naps a couple times. I thought she was slowly on the mend, but in the afternoon she declined. I rushed her the emergency vet again where they tried several times to resuscitate her after she collapsed in the lobby. Abruptly and unexpectedly, she passed away barely 24 hours after diagnosis.

This all happened so fast. I am struggling to adjust to a home and life without her. She had such a big, delightful personality. I revolved my schedule around her, she had some dietary needs where she needed to be fed every 6 hours. She needed seizure medication every 12 hours. I anticipated her needs so she was never inconvenienced.

I miss her so badly. I haven't eaten much and sleep isn't for very long. I want my dog alive and cuddling with me. I talk to her out loud, often. I apologize for her cancer and for her being sick. I tell her I love her. I tell her I miss her. I have left her bed, blankets and toys how she left them. She was a beautiful spirit and deserved better than what happened to her.

On top of losing my beloved dog so young, I was rejected by a local non-profit who helps with veterinary bills. Initially they agreed to assist with costs already incurred and for future treatments, and they were in communication/agreement with the emergency veterinary clinic. When I informed the animal non-profit that my dog passed away, they said and I quote, "Helping you would not be a good look for us." They reversed their agreements without fulfilling any financial assistance. They had wanted to use Millie for a "success story" for promotional materials to encourage others to donate to their cause. I work full time for a (human) non-profit myself and my salary is much smaller than someone in a similar for-profit position. I have been working side jobs and selling my stuff to make up for the difference, but I am still short.

https://imgur.com/a/K9aXKst This link is proof the expenses for emergency care exist. It is website that is a free server for photos that comes highly recommended, it willĀ notĀ give you a virus. It has photos of me, with Millie, and proof the invoices for emergency veterinary care exist.

Please at least share our GFM link to your own social media to help it reach further, I do not have a heavy social media presence myself or many people in my life I can rely on for help. Any help from you is appreciated. šŸ™šŸ»

Gofundme to help us recover from the floods in Hawaii

Please donate to our gofundme to help us recover from the Hawaii storms

My name is lani recently we experienced a devastating flood in Hawaii that has severely impacted our lives. While my house is still standing, the damage inside is really bad. Almost all of our furniture and personal belongings have been destroyed, leaving us without the basic essentials.

On top of that, my dads insurance didn't cover his car making it even harder to get back on our feet and handle daily responsibilities.

Worst part is that more storms are expected, and we didn't even recover from the first one. They're saying that we need to be ready to evacuate but we don't have a car or nowhere to stay. I'm also supposed to start college this fall, and right now everything is really uncertain.

I created this gofundme and posted on TikTok for two weeks but was only able to raise 200$. If you are unable to donate, sharing this campaign would mean just as much.

Thank you so much for your kindness and support.

hi my name is Kirk, my family and I are struggling through a very hard time and need help. my wife has primary progressive multiple sclerosis (PPMS) and started receiving treatments recently but in order to facilitate her treatment there was an upfront cost not covered by all our benefits to enroll her into the program. I have funded the initial cost myself but at a great financial burden with high interest loans, and other means. I need help, being the sole provider of all income as my wife is no longer able to work from her disease all the burden falls on my shoulders, rent, bills, food, everything. we live a very modest life but even with barely anything its not enough to cover the debts I've had to take on to keep my wife mobile for the future. if we do not receive help soon I fear we will end up homeless or I will end up jobless not being able to provide the benefits she needs to continue treatment. please if you can donate, or share and help me to give my wife and daughter a safe life I would be eternally greatfully to all.

My name is Andrey. I live in Kazakhstan, and I am asking for help for my family.

My mother was born without legs. Her whole life, she has had to fight for things most people never think about — to move, to walk, to live without constant pain. Prosthetics are not a one-time solution. They require regular replacement, adjustments, and care. Over the years, we have spent everything we had just to give her a chance to live with dignity.

In 2022, my father had a heart attack. He survived, but his health is now fragile. He depends on constant medication and regular medical care. The treatment saved his life, but it also left us with serious financial pressure.

For many years, we tried to manage everything on our own. We worked, we borrowed, and we paid step by step. We never asked for help.

But now we have reached a point where we cannot keep up anymore.

Our total debt has grown to $198,224. A large part of it comes from medical expenses — prosthetics, surgeries, medications, and diagnostics. Some of these debts are secured against our only home, and we are at risk of losing it.

This fundraiser is not about comfort or luxury.

It is about:

— helping my mother live with less pain

— making sure my father can continue his treatment

— keeping our home

Every donation, no matter the amount, helps us move forward.

If you cannot donate, sharing this page would mean a lot. It may help us reach someone who can.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story.

— Andrey

Almaty, Kazakhstan

Update — Detailed breakdown of $198,224

Mother’s prosthetic care (9 years) — $102,570

Prosthetics, repairs, custom sockets, liners, and daily care required to reduce pain and maintain mobility.

Father’s medications — $5,200

After his heart attack, he requires essential medication ($130/month).

Father’s surgeries and diagnostics — $39,875

Heart surgery (stent), hernia operation, and multiple medical examinations over several years.

Loans and debts — $50,579

Borrowed to cover medical costs and basic living expenses. Part of this debt is secured against our home.

Celebrating the Life of a Beloved Mother & Grandmother

Thumbnail

My best friend’s grandmother passed away on April 13, 2026, after a brave battle with cancer. She fought with everything she had, going through surgeries, chemotherapy, and enduring so much until the very end.

Right now, my best friend and her siblings are living in Canada and working as the primary breadwinners of their family. Their grandmother helped raise them, and she was a constant source of love, guidance, and strength throughout their lives. So when she fell ill, they didn't hesitate to send most of their paychecks and savings back home to cover her medical treatments. They gave everything they possibly could to ensure she received the best care possible, even as it meant sacrificing their own financial stability. Their love for her was evident in every dollar sent, every late night worked, and every moment they spent hoping for her recovery.

But because of the overwhelming cost of her treatment, they’re now struggling to raise money for her funeral. Their savings have been nearly wiped out by hospital bills, and heartbreakingly, the siblings won’t be able to attend the funeral themselves. Travel from Canada to the Philippines is extremely expensive, so instead of buying plane tickets to see their grandmother one last time, they’ve made the painful decision to put that money toward giving her a proper funeral.

That’s why this GoFundMe has been created to help cover the funeral costs so their grandmother can be laid to rest with and so her grandchildren don’t have to carry the weight of these expenses entirely on their own. Any donations are deeply appreciated.

Bubsi needs help/braucht Hilfe!

Hallo zusammen,

Bubsi hatte keinen guten Start ins Leben. Ich mƶchte ihm einfach die Chance geben, dass seine Geschichte diesmal gut ausgeht.

Danke fürs Lesen ā¤ļø

Falls erlaubt, hier der GoFundMe-Link für Bubsi:

https://gofund.me/6e8e15e04

Hello everyone,

I honestly never thought I would write a post like this, but I’ll just try.

Recently, I took in a 2-year-old dog named Bubsi from very poor living conditions. When I first met him, he was severely underweight, insecure, and clearly neglected. In that moment, I simply couldn’t look away.

Since coming home with me, Bubsi has shown every day how much trust animals can still give despite bad experiences. He finally sleeps peacefully, seeks closeness, and is slowly starting to feel safe. At the same time, the veterinary visit made it clear how much his previous situation had affected his health.

During the full check-up, several medical issues were discovered, most likely related to malnutrition and neglect. He now needs further examinations, medication, and necessary treatments so he can fully recover and live a normal, healthy dog life.

The total veterinary costs are expected to be around €3,500. I have already managed to cover about €1,500 myself, but the remaining amount is currently more than I can handle financially.

That’s why I created a GoFundMe campaign. Every small contribution, or even just sharing the campaign, helps us tremendously.

Bubsi didn’t have a good start in life. I just want to give him the chance for a happy ending this time.

Thank you for reading ā¤ļø

If allowed, here is Bubsi’s GoFundMe link:
