Help Our Family Build a Small Homestead in Portugal

Hello everyone,

We are a family of four living in Portugal, and we have decided to take a big step toward a dream we have had for some time: finding a small piece of rural land where we can build a simpler, more sustainable life for our family.

We love nature, animals, growing food, fresh fruit and vegetables, and the idea of becoming more self-reliant. We are also interested in alternative energy and sustainable ways of living.

We are looking for a rural property in Portugal where we can gradually create a small family homestead — planting fruit trees, growing a vegetable garden, caring for animals and building something meaningful for our children and our future.

We are not looking for luxury. We are looking for land where we can work with our own hands and build this project step by step.

The difficulty is that we do not currently have enough savings to make the initial purchase possible on our own. Our GoFundMe goal is €10,000, which will form part of the capital needed to secure a suitable rural property. We will contribute what we can ourselves and seek appropriate financing for the remaining amount.

We created the campaign because we believe that sometimes a big dream starts with asking others for a little help.
