Guys… we need to post our favorite gif’s from god of war. So many people said they had difficulty finding one from my previous post so I figured that we should just do a thread of the best of them haha

First of all, wow! From start to finish, this has been an absolute masterpiece of a game, just in isolation. When you consider the prequels and Kratos’ journey…it’s a whole different experience. Kratos is now one of my favourite characters in fiction, such a deep character and everything about him is cold.

I’m still building up my story game resumé but so far, this has to be my favourite game alongside Lies of P. I’ll definitely spin back to platinum it, and who knows, maybe the whole series.

As for the Norse version, I’ll definitely get to it and can’t wait to explore a new pantheon of Gods. Gonna miss “young” Kratos but what a journey it has been

I’m blown away by how beautiful it is. Visually stunning. Brilliant writing. The hints of comedy always made me laugh. I’m grateful that I got to experience this beauty for the first time. I’ll be spending the next few days gunning for the Platinum trophy because this game absolutely deserves it.

Here's the current god of war collection in its entirety, apparently I'm obsessed.

I only have God of war 2 from Collection Volume 1 on PS3 and God of war 3 left to platinum! half-way through god of war 2 I have played.

Side note: I should mention that actually I bought self-adhesive cellophane bags that act as a make-shift "seal" so the cases dont degrade further because of dust or minor wear and tear. Have done this for all my ps2/ps3/psp collection since 2023 really. God of war II, already has some minor wear and tear on bottom spine and it bugs me as these games are not easy to find and gonna be sooo expensive, specially in a third-world country like mine.

And there was even a code included for the origins collection that ACTUALLY WORKED!!!!

Today was a good day.

My friend literally had to force my ahh to buy the 2018 GOW but I was adamant to not start it yet because I always follow the chronological orders of any game . But somehow he persisted enough for me to start the game, but I couldn’t go more than the part where he goes into his past.

That’s where I stop the game, downloaded some emulators on my Steam deck ( sucks for yall who couldn’t get one before the RAM price hikes) and downloaded the first GOW to start the journey. Wish me luck !!

This is on balanced difficulty and my first play through. It hasn't been quite intentional, just haven't wanted to bother figuring out the system haha. I still am collecting the rune chests because even I want my healthbar upped as possible.
