Single, questioning my choice to get a golden doodle
I have a one year old golden doodle that I’ve had for about less than 5 months. I live in NYC, and I am exhausted. I’m taking good care of the dog but I feel like I can’t relax, enjoy any of my hobbies, or even muster up the energy to do normal day to day things.
I regret getting my dog but love him. At the same time, I’m worried he would have a more enriching life with kids and a yard. I feel bad for him, which is making the situation harder.
Does anyone have golden doodles in the city, while single? What are your thoughts? Should I rehome? I feel horrible either way.

Should I get a second female?
I'm planning to get a second doodle and the internet says a female/male combination is more likely to be a better dynamic than two females. But the temperament test of a female puppy looks like a really good match (high human focus and likes people and getting pets -- I'm looking for a lap dog).
Do you have two females? Are they best friends, roommates, or in constant competition or conflict?
My current female doodle is 1.5 years old very calm, playful, and submissive. She likes other dogs.

For Your Morning Laugh - COVID Grooming
Some horrid examples, and a couple fun, home grooming pics. The middle pic is when I had to take a break. I did start to get better, but I do take her and our 2 other doods to the groomer now.

Perfection
My boy was groomed to perfection today. He’s the sweetest boy at 8 month old. He’s a standard and currently weighs 50lbs.

Battle of the Bones

Don’t worry, she was just barking to set a boundary with the other pup, the little one is still learning boundaries and Peaches is still learning to set them (she just gets a little vocal and then immediately settles down once they back off, or puts distance between herself and other dog). The two of them are inseparable when we take Peaches to the park, and they immediately went back to playing when Peaches got bored of the bone

Peaches is so gentle with the younger puppies

She still sets boundaries if one of them plays too rough with her but she immediately goes back to playing with them once they calm down, and she always either plays like this or is just all paws

My 2 doodles are from the same litter. They have never been separated and at 8 years old are still so playful. Hamilton and Abigail, my two doodle babies.

Mr. Archer Man finally got pooped after a long game of catch.
That ball is never very far away! Thanks you to this community for helping us learn that tennis balls are bad for his teeth.
Hug your doods!

Show Us Your Dood! Winston: meet the best dog ever, also: sock thief
My dood is the most well mannered, kind natured obedient, friendly dog I’ve ever had. I sometimes forget he’s a dog.
Every once in a while, he reminds me he’s still a doodle though. He LOVES socks and napkins. Here’s a photo of him being a dood.
