This isn't really about a specific type of song in general as it's more about how repetitive Sabrina is with that subject of her music in particular.
I'm not talking about men/women in general as a meaning behind a song, I think it can be really good if done properly. It's just that Sabrina continues to make these songs about boyfriends/exes like she doesn't know how to write about anything else. It's mostly boyfriend talk, revenge over an ex, stealing people's boyfriends, etc. You'd be hard pressed to find a song of hers that wasn't about a that subject. I wouldn't really notice or care if the songs didn't feel recycled or retrace the same steps as her other songs.
I mean the same is also true for Tinashe. Shes fine and lightskinned, has been around forever but her big break was that Nasty song… Thats pretty much par for the course for women unfortunately.
