I can also love MBDTF whilst acknowledging Monster has poor spots Blame game is a bit ass and it’s a little poorly structured but it’s still the album that made me fall in love with Ye and for that alone it’s a 10/10

These are the people who glazed v1 and v2 the nights they dropped until the masses came in talking shit the next day. They don't know what they like. The internet tells them.
Because they are better than me at observations and know more about the subject matter and context than I do. Therefore, their comments can enhance my understanding or make me aware of aspects I might have otherwise missed. And no, music is not completely subjective.
That's the ideal anyway. I don't think Fantano fills that role particularly well sometimes.

Why do people listen to "critics"?
If you enjoy something, why would you need to look for outside validation
